Brim is made of two layers of fabric. Seems to have puffy, lumpy appearance which I can't seem to correct.

Great sun hat
Great hat & it really does pack & crush wonderfully. My last Solumbra hat was medium & too tight for comfort. I should have ordered large, but jumped to XL. It works for me as I can pull it on over my ponytail.

I ordered a woman's hat by mistake, but other than that the quality was good and the fit was correct. I just look kind of silly wearing it. Had two bouts of skin cancer on my scalp so not concerned about looks anymore!

Great Hat!
I have had a couple of styles of Solumbra hats that I bought years ago in a store near me. This is my favorite style and I have washed it in the washing machine many times. It's now looking a little grungy, so I'm going to get a new one for my up-coming cruise around South America.
