RITE-HITE Motor Stabilizing Clips - Red, for Use with Motor Trailering Device, Keeps Motor from Rocking Side to Side While Trailering Down The Road, Comes with 2 in The Package

I was expecting better performance out of this product. These clips are cheaply made and very thin. They are already warped to a point that they will no stay in place anymore. I really hope RITE-HITE goes back to the drawing board and use a different material that will withstand the environment and hot warp. WASTE OF MONEY until an updated clip comes out. See photos below of what I am talking about.........>:/

Had to replace a Seastar Detwiler Clip this year because one snapped. I usually get a couple of years out of them. I bought this as an alternative because I couldn't find the others on Amazon.These might be thicker material(it's hard to tell) and they are a little bit longer which suited me fine because the Detwiler clips were a little short for my outboard. I figure they'll last as long as the others so I'll probably buy them again.

Bought these for my boat, baystar hydraulic steering on a Yamaha 150 4 Stroke. I had to cut off 1/8 inch on each one for a correct fit. Not sure how long they’ll last, but I was getting tired of the outboard flopping over while towing.

They work, durability seems to be in question. Pretty thin. An inadvertent turn of the wheel will bust them.

They are a hard plastic that doesn't bend easily. Material is too brittle for the intended purpose.One side broke the 1st time I was taking it off the ram. I would highly recommend getting a set that utilizes more pliable rubber.

I guess it works. Used it on a 60 mile round trip day out with my boat trailer. With my transom saver and this, my outboard should be less prone to any heavy wear from road conditions.

More effective than the expensive motor stops, but costs less than half.
