Worked better than I thought
Worked better than I thought. I' usually use a 12" 96 tooth blade but compared to size and tooth count the blade worked great.. the blade is good for any application other than cutting red oak works but doesn't stay Sharp when you start cutting hard wood. Did 3 big floor jobs and once I started cutting red oak 1.1/4" thick that's when I felt the blade not cut as easy but did cut it and after 20 cuts it started smoking. But it also depends on the operator cause my helpers never know how to run a compound miter saw. I know when I used the blade brand new it worked great.

ultra smooth
I bought this for my Makita LXSL01 cordless compound miter saw. The saw came with a 40 tooth blade, which works very well, but this one makes much smoother cuts. I likely will just use it all the time, except for cutting 2x4 and the like, which might warrant going back to the other blade for faster cutting. Great to have both. It should also work on the Makita LS0714 since it is essentially the same saw, with a corded and more powerful motor. The cordless saw has done a fine job so far, and is more portable.

Super smooth cut
First impression, it's a great blade. Perfect for all your finish work. I usually change out my new blade with my old one when not doing finish work.

Clean & fast
I got great results from this blade, one of the best cutting saw/blade combos I've tried.I worked it pretty hard though, and at the end of the project (trimming out two entire houses), I think I may have warped it very slightly, it's binding up now. Probably heated it up & warped it somehow, maybe on the oak.

"I'll just put a good sharp 7 1/4 on there
If you have the Makita 18v cordless chop saw, this blade is a "must have" item. Please don't think...."I'll just put a good sharp 7 1/4 on there, it'll work fine".......No, it won't. The angle of these teeth, the unbelievable sharpness, and that extra 1/4" of size make all the difference. In fact a 7 1/4" blade "grabs" so bad, it is very dangerous. Once you put this blade on, it's zips through a 2 x 8 like butter... I love this saw....

Superb blade
I love these blades. Cuts like a knife through butter and the finish cut is unbelievably smooth and polished. I’ll buy these blades again……and again.

hard to find blade
this is for an old Sears craftsman compound slide saw which came with a 7-1/2" blade on it. Amazon was the only place I could find this size. Nice blade, cuts very clean and smooth for finish carpentry.

Amazing saw blade
This really is an amazing saw blade. I have even used it to cut metal tracks with no problem and it still cut through wood trims with ease.
