I dig these a lot! I was skeptical at first but decided since it was only $20 to go ahead and purchase it. It sure is light, easy to pack around and collapse down for easier packing. To test its quality I went to a local lake where tons of kids swim and boats drive around. I found a pretty murky area and filled the bottle up. (Previously emptying a water bottle to see the after-filter quality) Poured it from the filter bottle into a water bottle and myself and several friends drank from it. None of us got sick but all of us were banking on it. ;)

Love it - especially when walking. I fold it up and put in my pocket. It's not bulky. And is easy to use.

The water flow is so slow out of the mouthpiece that it is practically useless. Plus it is not truly collapsible since the infernal filter is a solid column.

The filter broke in one trip to the mountain the rest of the parts in excelent condition

It’s a great idea and was good for my 5week trip to Europe because it folded however the filter made it a inconvenience since it had to be removed to fold which took up more space in my bag and it dropped. I stopped using it my second week

Very difficult to drink out of as the flow is so slow. Also the filter piece is large and heavy, making it difficult to collapse and not very compact. The idea behind it is great, but I gave up and barely used it on my trip.

water bottle was too flexible

I thought that the filtering of the water would be faster, but I don't have the time to fill a cap full at a time.
