I am an HVAC assistant working for a large school district near Chicago. My job is to do the Pm's on the large RTU's to include Trane, LG, Mitsubishi, Mammoths, etc. which involves removing and replacing the MANY filters they contain. Typically we have bent pieces of "all thread" or wire to help reach the far ones. I bought this as a more convenient way of doing this job, and so far so good. The reach of this tool is more than perfect, even for the really big units. The double hook at the end is a great size for the task, grabbing the filters very well. I have no issues with the telescopic parts, they are more than strong enough. Lastly, the magnetic base is a really good addition for storing it on our steel rack in the office. This is a tool to keep in your truck at all times! If you need to get something out of the back, it extends easy, and collapses back down to put in the behind the seat pocket.

There are "fern vines" with thorns that grow like weeds on our property in Southern California. People online have said they are a problem here. They are beautiful, but you don't want them taking over the yard, which they will do. I've spent many hours cutting and removing them and there are still a lot more (we inherited the property which is quite overgrown in the backyard). This pole with the hook on the end has been helpful in getting down some of the ones that are very high in the trees. At first, I thought it wouldn't work; but I kept trying to grab it with the hook and finally got a lot of them down. I used the hook that is on the pole in the product photo. I then used the other "s" shaped one, which actually worked better. I was using a fairly large step stool. When I use it with our long ladder, I'm sure I can get more out of the trees. We used this to remove a tree branch from our rain gutter. It's a very useful tool, and the different attachments for grabbing things should be helpful in many different situations.

This is a fantastic tool that I use for work. The 2-pronged hook is the more useful of the two attachments and really grabs items well that would otherwise be out of reach. The tool extends several feet and doesn't collapse when grasping something heavy.

This is a great tool for my line of work, highly recommended.
