Bought this to use with a pillow top spring mattress. The assembly was a bit tedious but my husband and I had it all together in about an hour. No problems with the parts. Nothing was bent or broken or missing. One of the balls that screw into the post was stripped but a little glue worked fine to secure it. I had family come visit and used this bed for 8 days. They are average size people and were very comfortable the entire time. Only thing I would recommend is if you are using a spring mattress, get a gorilla grip pad so the mattress doesn't slide off the frame. There is no lip on the bed frame. Once we did put the pad on the base, mattress was secured. Looks beautiful and sits comfortable with the height of the mattress. (Hate sitting like I'm on the floor)

Packaging:Arrived without any visible damage to the box. The box itself is long and heavy. Depending on where you’re moving it to, have someone help. Everything is labeled on the pieces and on the bags for the screws. One bag of mine was ripped but everything was there. They also include two Allen wrenches to use to put the bed together. PLEASE BE AWARE: There was rust dust inside many of the bag pieces. Not sure where it came from but certainly not something that I expected or appreciated finding. It’s not just because it’s a metal bed either. Bought a different metal bed for my son and there wasn’t any.Instructions:Fairly easy to read. It’s basically pictures with the labeling and arrows.Product:Mine came damaged. As I stated the box was without blemish so I have to assume it was damaged before it was boxed up. Luckily we were able to place the piece in where it connects and bend it back enough to get it to fit in place. I’m hoping this won’t cause issues later. There are several small gaps as well in the construction around the little balls on the head and foot boards. Not glaring but noticeable if you are sitting on the bed or putting it together. The bed itself once you tighten allllll of the little screws seems very sturdy.I will update if there are any significant changes. But I would recommend a non-slip pad go under the mattress. With the metal it just seems like it may shift.

This is a great bed frame. It does make a bit of noise, but on mine it has never been obnoxious squeaking, just sometimes little taps as the metal shifts against itself. I've been sleeping on it for six months now and haven't had any problems with the bars bending or anything like that. It was a pain and a half to put together--it took two people maybe two hours and a lot of frustration--but it looks good and for the price and the quality, I'm happy with it.

This is my first metal bed, I cannot tell how I like it. We spent more than an hour to put everything together but worth. This is a solid metal bed which is very sturdy . It is also fashion and looks great. I very like the under-bed storage space designe that gives me convenience and more space to organize my staff. Nice item with nice price.

We love this frame! However, some of the holes did not line up or were not fully drilled through in order for us to put the screws through.

For the price, this bed is about what I expected. It looks really nice if you don't look too close. The welding looks poorly done in some spots, the foot board was slightly bent and one of the poster knobs does not screw on correctly. That being said, the bed seems to be sturdy and meets my needs. It was also a breeze to put together, I managed to do it by myself in about 1.5 hours, but I would recommend having a second person to help hold things in place while securing pieces together. I did not have any issues with holes not lining up or the end boards slanting in as other reviewers have said. Overall, I'm happy with my purchase and that I was able to get a decent bed frame for under $200.

I bought this bed for my teenager, it’s sturdy as long as you build it correctly. There’s plenty of room under the bed for storage if you choose to store under the bed. Beautiful and classic bed frame and no box spring needed

I built the bed almost entirely on my own, and i'm not a very handy person. It took a while, but it has been perfect so far. I'm on the heavy side and use a nectar mattress, no box spring, and the bed has held up nicely this month. No squeaks, very sturdy.
