Arrived a bit later than I expected and was dented enough to restrict the spinning of the frames. Unfortunately, I needed to use it immediately so just hammered the dents out the best I could and it works. The electrical part seems fairly cheap -- it doesn't start spinning when the dial is low, and you have to turn it up to faster than you want, and then turn down to the lower speeds. Inconvenient. Finally, one small screw and nut were missing to put the lid on, but that was easy to remedy.

My first one ordered did not work at all, the parts did not fit together. My replacement arrived with several dents in the drum.disappointed. Hopefully it will work better than it looks.

When I first received this unit I was not impressed. But I had no experience with them so didn't really have anything to compare it to. Once I put it together, it ran fine and did what I needed. I extracted 10 frames of honey. I broke it back down, cleaned it all with warm soapy water (Dawn) and put it away. When I got it back out to extract some more frames I was shocked that the inside of the extractor had rusted. The motor was locked up, I was able to get it running again after some work. But I am afraid to extract any honey because it is rusted all over. A huge waste of money. I would like a refund on it but am afraid it is probably to late. Steer clear of this item.

I had 40 frames to extract, and this extractor made it easy and painless. The constructionis great and clean up was a breeze!!!

1- Motor must be removed to attach lids. This isn't explained in the instructions. When The motor is reattached the shaft from the motor don't line up which caused the cheap plastic gear to break when motor was turned on. The cheap metal pieces on the lid for the safety switch are thin and to small so they won't engage the safety buttons.

The Honey extractor worked wonderfully. Completed honey extracting in no time compared to manual extractor.I would recommend this item to anyone.Thanks
