Fully Jarvis Standing Desk Frame Only - Supports Tops from 44" to 82" Wide and 27" to 36" deep - Electric Adjustable Desk Height from 24.5" to 50" with Memory Preset Controller (Alloy Frame)

I bought this exactly two years ago and it works great. I have really enjoyed the flexibility of sitting or standing and not having to hand crank it up or down. The price is just about right as I purchased the Alloy frame, then bought an IKEA Linmon 72" long dark brown top which gives me a LOT of space to fit my MacBook Pro, USB-C devices, 24" monitor, Creative Lab speakers, Intuos Wacom tablet and a few books.My only minor complaints is that the controller can be a little fidgety at times. It's almost like a tiny electrical current will surge briefly when adjusting the height and it will go in the opposite direction, or go up and then down again. I received a replacement and it still happens sporadically. Also, the left leg makes an audible clicking noise when going up. It's not a dealbreaker but it can be annoying at times.I bought the Alloy frame as a newly released item from Fully so it may have not been tested thoroughly.I may have to send part of my desk back, but the sheer size and weight of some of these parts would not make it easy to ship back.

We couldn't be more pleased with this desk! I found an old door on Craigslist and was looking for a way to make it into a funky standing desk. The Jarvis frame allowed me to keep the sort of "farmhouse" look I was looking for with the alloy finish, but have all of the convenience of a standing desk. It moves from the lowest to highest setting in only a few seconds and is super quiet... no concerns about pushing the button with a baby sleeping right next to the desk. There is a bit of wobble at the very highest setting, but unless you are 7' tall, you probably wont be working at that height. I like leaving it up really high when not in use since we have little kids running around... keeps them from messing with things.

This thing is strong as h e l l ! I've got a 6' x 2' x 2" solid butcher block slab I refinished as the desktop holding a 27" iMac Pro, a 37" widescreen display, and a 29" Apple Display, plus a Pioneer DJ controller – and the stand doesn't even hesitate. It moves just as quick, quiet, and steady as it did with nothing on it at all. As for height, I'm 6'6" and the desktop is at my arm pits at its highest. I'm thoroughly impressed, and very glad I went ahead and spent a little extra for this fantastic piece of furniture!

Back in 2011 the company I worked for purchased the first set of sit stand desks, we had to manually raise and lower them making it a pain so most of us just used them as a regular desk. A couple years later when we changed locations that purchased an automated version from a different company. They were loud and, unfortunately there were also not the most sturdy. So Before purchasing I drove to different stores, touched and tested other sit stand desks to see how they matched up. Hands down this is the best built, most silent and sturdy desk I was able to try. I love the minimalistic design and range of options I have with this desk.

The frame was very easy to put together and works very well. I paired it with an Ikea 74" walnut countertop that is extremely rich looking and only 24" depth which I needed as the typical 30" depth is too deep for my room.

I am in the process of building the final walnut top for the Jarvis frame I purchased. A prototype plywood top has been enough to put the frame through it's paces. The frame holds a top 24" x 72" that replaces a 20 year old desk and printer stand. The top carries a printer, surge protector/battery backup, laptop, 32" monitor, folio and working papers through the full range of heights. At the low preset, my granddaughter (4) does her coloring, ipad, and reading work. The frame rises smoothly through three more presets - seated, workbench height, and a heads-up standing height. Together they provide a perfectly flexible space for computer work, printing, reading, note taking, podcasts, drawing and other family activities. A huge improvement in comfort and productivity.

The media could not be loaded.  Relatively quiet. Strong and smooth acuation. Well built and sturdy. Great finish on product. Solid design.
