I'm a hobby photographer, been thinking about a monopod every time I drag the tripod on a trip,hike and never take it out since setup is just too much.Add to the soup I'm about 2m tall, a tripod at eye level is gonna be heavy, even if it was carbon fiber.Come this beast here, fully extended it way past my head! And didn't have the tiny 3 legged attachment screwed on! Awesome!I can't speak for the weight bearing (I'm about kg) and pulled the fully extended monopod down with some weight. Didn't bend, didn't squeek.It's really sturdy! The camera end has a soft handle, heavy top, looks perfect for balancing 700mm telezoom from it.Sctually the while monopod feels better than my hiking sticks :) I'd probably better with this than those, or first line defence against mountai lion.Wrist wrap will definitely carry the monopod. There's a utility tools with the package, for every bolt,screw on the stick.The 3 leg extensions felt good too, I've no doubt about material quality. It is quite heavy (for the small size that is).Monopod doesn't fold small(i'd estimate 70cm), but don't care, it is definitely tall enough for tallest photographer.My only woe now is retrospective annoyance, why didn't I find this sooner :-D
