Perfect for my lip balm. Pretty colors too.

I make my own lip balms so I ordered these tubes here instead of a big supplier that usually charges $10 for shipping. Very nice good quality tubes and I like the selection of different cap colors.

I just filled them up - my first attempt at making lip balm and highly successful. A bit hard to pull off these caps so keep hands dry and pull off a whole bunch before using. Dip into 5% bleach solution to disinfect. Fill with balm. Wait, top off. Wipe sides, cover back on, add label, done. I melted bees wax pieces (pellets are easier to measure), shea butter, avocado oil. There should be 1/4 bees wax and 3/4 shea + oil of any kind like olive, avocado, walnut, almond, coconut, etc. Warm them up in a double boiler to melt and mix. Pour into a small glass container so you can pour easily into tubes. You do NOT need a tube tray - do one by one by hand. At this point, if you want mix fragrance like essential oil rose, lavender, sage, etc a few drops into cup. Add stevia if you want a sweet taste. Work fast. Use ice cream stick to mix or flat knife. It is waxy and coats your tools so use flat things. Pour while warm into tubes to the top. Next tube, next one. Come back again and as they cool off they shrink a bit so top off with warm balm again. Keep cup dipped into simmering water or microwave 20 secs to re-melt. It hardens fast into a solid. Top should be filled all the way, wipe off sides, and cap off. Add label if you want for different flavors. Even add food coloring if you like! This makes it easy to see the different fragrances. Green for sage, pink for rose, etc. Keep it very pale in color. Labels are sold on Amazon or print your own. Mine turned out very nicely. Shea butter gives it a rich creamy feel and is good for skin. The bees wax prevents it turning liquid during hot days. Tubes did very well, no issues at all. Recommend.

I picked these because of the cute green color, but they don't fit into my filling tray, they're too small and fall out. I was already in process of making lip balm before I realized. I ended up filling them individually by hand. Huge disappointment! Otherwise, the tubes are fine.
