Q: So is this everything i need to get started? Im new to this so i want to make sure i have everything

This is everything minus the genetic material (spores or liquid culture). Vendors cannot sell certain genetics alongside grow materials for legal reasons, that's why we recommend buyers purchase separately so they can grow whatever variety they want.

Q: How much genetic material do you use per bag?

We recommend 2-4cc per bag, using more is not an issue or beneficial, however you can save the material for other projects so we don't recommend using more than 2-4cc.

Q: What is the genetic material you need that is not included?

You would inoculate the bag with spores or liquid culture. We do not provide genetic material, you would have to provide it yourself.

Q: Jack Frost liquid culture any suggestions?

Our bags work great for most varieties of mushrooms, that's all we can say!
