Holiness, Truth, and the Presence of God: A Penetrating Study of the Human Heart and How God Prepares It for His Glory

I read this as a trusted friend mentioned it in an online class he was teaching. I enjoyed it so much that I bought several more and used it to teach a mid-week series at our church. Read it if you need to be stirred up. If you are seeking more after God, you'll want to read it.

This book is so compelling with scripture and truth. I have never ran across so much truth in scriptures that have confronted and challenged me to the point I have to put down the book and walk away and really contemplate what I just read. He did provide a warning and I purchased the book because Dr. Matthew Stevenson read the book and recommended it but he also gave his warnings as well. Its a very serious piece of work based upon scripture and I am really ....I can't explain it but I have put this book down numerous times trying to read through it. Why the struggle? When I am confronted with the truths here I just don't believe that you can gloss over them as though I am reading the news paper or magazine article. I decided to just read through it the first time so I can get through the book and then go back and study it. Its taking me a while to just go through the chapters. I have had it for a while and I had to put it down yet again, tbh I wanted to throw it across the room or hit someone, I know that's not mature but I am working on it. I belive this was divinely written because what's hidden will be uncovered....

Although an easy read for someone who prefers that. This book's content is not easily digest. You won't fly through this book, but will find yourself praying, pondering, repenting, and praising. It is a must read for anyone desiring to draw near God's heart.

Excellent book - the author is one of only a few living authors I like to read. Instead of just regurgitating the dead “greats” he has developed his own stream, building on those who’ve gone before.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE ALL OF PASTOR FRANGIPANES' WRITNGS! This book is a constant GO-TO if you want or need to "re-center/re-focus" your spiritual walk with Christ. I've recommended it to those who are serious about their relationship with Jesus. The book even has space for you to journal personal notes, of which I am not sure was indented, nevertheless I enjoy this book every time I revisit it. I have the original version and the updated version includes new stuff - you'll have to discover for yourself....ENJOY TO THE FULLEST!GFE

This book is refreshingly convicting! During a tumultuous time in my life this book, its content, paired with the bible healed some tender areas in me. It's definitely in my top 10 reads of all time!

Scripturally sound. Easy to understand what Holiness really is after reading. Teaches you what holiness is NOT....not what you thought, not what you've been taught (has nothing to do with the external). Absolutely gave me a craving for more of who God is.

So easy to read and understand.
