Love this. Highly recommend as an alternative to the Canvas Lamp. More detail below, but honestly, if you are looking for a way to make content capture easier, buy it! Head holds even a heavy phone without gradually dropping as can be a problem with other ring lights. The phone clamp can be used in landscape or portrait position. The light has 3 settings: cool, daylight and warm, and brightness settings so you can really control your lighting. It’s very bright- this will serve as my main office light going forward. I love that it has little clips to keep the cable tidy against the lamp arms. I use a power bank to power it so I have full control of placement. It runs for hours on a decent power bank. The arms are easy to drag and move but firm enough that the position doesn’t change once in place. The only thing Id change would be making the desk clamp a little wider so that its not clamped quite so near the edge of the desk, but this is a minor detail.

I’ve been using this ring light for a few weeks now and overall, I’m really pleased with it. The lighting is bright, evenly distributed, and perfect for filming workouts, creating content, or video calls. The adjustable brightness and colour settings are a great touch, and the tripod feels sturdy enough for regular use. The phone holder is secure and flexible, making it easy to get the right angle. My only minor issue is that the overhead arm can feel a little stiff when adjusting, but once it’s in place, it stays put. For the price, it’s a solid and reliable setup that does exactly what it promises.

On arrival all the nuts on the joints were too tight to be able to operate it, two spanners later the joints were freed up so the arms could move and the springs do their job. Despite the description which refers to the material being ABS only the lamp assembly, and lamp angle hand screw are plastic, the arms and desk clamp are metal. To use without the smartphone holder release of the holder is very difficult as the mounting and screw are both glued to the lamp assembly. With determination and a plastic faced vice I managed to unscrew them. Luckily the lamp assembly is tough. Without the phone holder I can easily use the lamp with a seperate camera, it is also good for illuminating inside of my 3D printer for maintenance. The remote worked easily with a smartphone and the cord control for selecting the brightness and colour temperature is very useful, overall very pleased with this lamp, the reach of the arms with a sturdy clamp is effective.

I found that this light/phone holder had trouble holding my heavy phone in the small area I needed it and that the desk attachment did not function well for me and kept dropping. Monica, in customer support, was attentive, responsive and professional and helped me to easily source a replacement that met my needs better. I would give more stars if I could for the outstanding customer service and would recommend the F-621 10" cantilever bracket lamp with stand, if you need to hold a heavy phone in limited space. Much easier to position behind or to the side of a desk without taking up space than a tripod, and very sturdy and stable. The light has 10 brightness adjustment settings also, as well as the choice of daylight, warm light and blue light settings.

I bought this primarily so I could craft under a natural-seeming light in winter evenings. I also don’t want to look like a zombie on Zoom calls. I’ve been using it every day, basically all day for the past week when it came in the mail. I absolutely love it. The setup was very easy. It came in a few parts that easily join together. Given the price, I was honestly surprised at how high quality it is. The metal is sturdy. It clamps on to a desk/table with a screwable bar (sorry, don’t have better words for that). The clamp part is padded so it won’t damage the surface. I’ve moved it a few times so far and have not noticed any marks left behind. A really nice feature is that there are little hooks to thread the wire through to cut down on cable clutter. You can do three different light shades (warm, neutral, cool) and can make it brighter or dimmer. The only con is that it can take a little getting used to adjust properly. But like I said for the price it really blew me away.

Great little desk light used for recording. It is easy to assemble. Has a knob on the side to tighten to your desk. This is only a desk light. It does not have a stand for the floor. You have different brightness and light tones available. It is well worth the cost you pay. It also comes with a remote.

All in all it's really strong and sturdy. It is easy to attach to a counter or table. The lighting is great and easy to adjust. I have found it isn't as flexible as what I needed it for it's really hard to get the angle I need for the space I have because it's movement is limited to up, down, left, right, front, back... I need those in-between spaces. You can watch the video to see what I mean. It does work great for puzzle videos on my kitchen table though.

I am super excited about this light. I can use it for top down recording as well as recording myself. The light is super bright the settings work perfectly. I was able to plug in a battery pack to it so I didn’t have to worry about running a cord to the wall, I can’t wait to start creating with this. It was so simple to put together and it’s really secure on the table once you get everything tightened.

Easy to assemble, adjust, and use. Light has a few different color options (white, blueish, and yellow) and multiple brightness settings for each color. It came with a remote to connect to your phone to control your camera, however I cannot speak to it as I didn’t even bother using it. This mount works great for filming hands on tutorials, or just as a work light. Great option for anyone doing crafts and wanting to film or just have light right where you need it. Highly recommend.
