I don't know if this necessarily did anything. It has a more oily consistency than I was expecting and it smells more like a rose smell (if you work in vet med, it kind of reminds me of cerenia) that I'm not really that hot on (likely from the cerenia flashbacks) but it doesn't smell bad. It didn't make me break out, which is nice, but I don't know if it really made a difference otherwise.

This is a Japanese Vitamin C serum with rice water and hyaluronic acid which target anti-aging. The bottle is small 1FL oz., great travel size. The liquid is slightly yellow in color and it has a rice water scent but very light. I have sensitive skin but no side effects from using this product. The serum feels slightly sticky on my face but absorbs quickly. I have been using this for about a week+ and I can’t really see the difference yet but I will continue using it and probably update later if I do see significant result in my skin. So far so good.

The serum is very thin and liquidy, but it spreads over skin well. The serum has a light scent that isn't irritating and seems to absorb quickly. I've been using it for a few weeks and noticed that it does offer a mild brightening effect to skin. Your mileage may vary on how effective it is, but I found it worked great with my combination dry/normal skin and it didn't cause any type of adverse effect. When paired with the Shinbi Beauty lotion, the duo worked perfectly for my skin. If you get this serum I recommend getting the Rice Cream With Rice Ferment + Sake Extract facial lotion as well. Overall, this is a good serum that I would buy again.
