Hands-On Microsoft Windows Server 2016

I liked renting the book and using the Kindle app. It was easy to search and find answers to the questions.I would recommend renting a digital copy of the book.

This is such a highly dense book. I can't keep my eyes open. I feel sorry for people who has to read this. They give you so much information in the beginning of the chapter but you should just skim the chapter for key words.

Good read when you are bored

Warning: I was hoping I can get the answers and solutions at end of chater and case projects. Apparently I was wrong. I even went to the book website and registered my purchase. All I got was no we don't support or you have to register as instructor to receive the supporting document. This is a text book, you would think you get the support you need to accomondate the material. What I'm going to do with this book without knowing the answers are correct!

This book is ridiculously difficult to use for review on Midterms/Finals. The review questions do not provide a answer bank to actually find out if they are correct or not, so you're stuck spending hours trying to find the correct answer in a poorly designed book.

What is the point then?

This is one of the worst textbooks I have ever seen. The text in the book blends together and nothing stands out on the page, making referencing this book difficult. The text is dry and it references commands that it never provides. I will be buying a second book, this book will be used only for its om class required chapter questions.

The exercises in this book give you a very good understanding of how to administer and run your Windows Server 2016 system. Everything is explained thoroughly and in understandable terms.
