If you have a dad who is a mechanic or is a outdoorsy man in general this is the beanie for him! My dad is a truck driver who is always out the door or underneath a hood of something and he always needs someone to hold a light for him! When my mechanic husband starts work each day, it's still dark out, and he works outside. Winter is coming, and we've already had near freezing temperatures. The Dolxico Unisex LED Beanie Headlamp with 6 Bright LEDs solves a couple of problems for his work situation.It keeps his head warm, during cold day temperatures and chilly mornings. This hat thankfully did not run small as a lot of items coming from overseas do. The light is super bright and will come in handy during winter when I need to run out and check on my chickens. The LED light is completely removable for washing and recharging.If I had to knock it for anything, it would be that there is no way to tilt the light, so it is always straight ahead of you. Nice for when you want to see something right at eye level, but most of the time you will want to have it be able to angle down slightly as immediately in front of you is where you need to see- not 10 feet ahead. To solve this I'll probably just put some sort of triangle in the headband to eliminate this issue.

I've been able to use this in the evenings to shovel snow from the driveway and the light is bright enough to light the way. It's a little tighter fit than others I've tried riding up in the the back, I just have to keep pulling it down. Not at all itchy, and keeps my balding head nice and warm.

Only thing that caught me off guard on this is: When taking out the light, the WHOLE unit goes through the backside and it "pushes out". I thought a subset of it was the unit, and at first accidentally tore off the plastic cover & thought I had broke it. (Thankfully it popped back on)Anyway...we went camping in Zion about 3 weeks ago, and it was a great time. That place gets very windy and pretty cold at night though! Getting up in the middle of the night to use the restroom, it would have been great to have had this...because not only do you have a light while you are walking...but it makes, ahem, using the facilities much easier vs peeing in the dark!Comfy beanie, light a huge bonus! I recently got another still for my son and he loves it. I got this one for myself for camping, hiking, working, and ghost hunting. That's right, I said "Ghost hunting!" Don't you judge me!It's a nice warm hat that fits snugly and the headlamp is an easy use and nice and bright. Just remember to shade the light or cut it off when you look in someone's direction.The light is nice as it is built in and rechargeable, although I have not had to recharge it yet, so I'll have to report any issues with that aspect at a later time.The price was very reasonable as well.
