This is really cool to turn on before my son goes to bed! Just don't loose the slides. impressed with the quality

For some reason I thought this was a video type projector that would show twinkling stars, a rotating moon, etc. It’s not like that at all. This projects still images. There isn’t any individual movement within the still projection. The entire image slowly rotates clockwise & consistently sways to the left & back. Watching this type of bright light monotonous movement in the dark made me nauseous. Thankfully, the motion can be turned off. The projector operates manually & plugs in, no remote. It runs silently which I like. Twelve interchangeable discs are included. Nine are of outer space & three are holiday themes, two Christmas & one Halloween. There’s a focus knob to adjust clarity, though within each projection, some images will come into focus while others will blur. So if I focus on the moon, the images around it are blurry. I placed the projector 6.5 feet from my ceiling at a slight angle & the entire image covered roughly 8 feet across. If the light coming from the projector is at eye level, it’s piercing & hard to ignore. I’m on the fence with how I feel about this projector overall. It’s presented very well. It looks & feels like a quality item & I do enjoy it to a certain degree. It’s interesting but it’s glitchy. It’s missing something.

I expected this to “fill” the ceiling like other projectors and it does not. The images aren’t very crisp despite using focus.

This is my first foray into projections (unless you count some faux candles that project snowflakes), so I'm not an authority on what's available or what to expect.As another reviewer has noted, the slides here are "consumable," and I'm not sure exactly what that means because the language isn't what you'd call crystal clear. My original thought was that the light bulb might get warm and changing them rather than using the same one over and over keeps them from warping, but it's LED, so that shouldn't be as much of an issue.There are 10 space-related slides and 3 holiday, 1 Christmas, 1 Halloween, and 1 winter/snow that would work for any winter holiday. The spinning is VERY VERY slow, which makes sense for the galaxies and such, not so much for the holiday ones. I think the holiday slides are kind of afterthoughts here - which, fair enough, I was specifically looking for something that had both evergreen and seasonal projections, but I'd rather have a little more flexibility.The projector itself is small and white. Aesthetically I'd prefer black casing but that's a very minor quibble.I do like that it's rechargeable. We tend to use it where it's plugged in (and unplug it regularly to protect the long-term battery life), but not everybody has an outlet exactly where they need it to be.The projection itself is maybe 5ish feet around, and that's on 12 foot ceilings from a sofa side table (2 feet tall), so about ten feet from the ceiling. That's outside of the max recommended distance, so the images aren't peak quality. (I'm positive they're not 4D HD or whatever, either, even with the extra distance confounding the issue.)The bottom line is that I'll fall back on my usual advice to shop around. I like this absolutely fine, but I have no real basis for comparison. If it eats up the slides or they go blurry or some other obvious flaw, I'll update immediately.

The images create a somewhat planetarium like effect that fills a good portion of the room,depending on placement.In my opinion this item makes a great educational tool for children.Each projection slide case comes with a short synopsis describing its projected image encouraging an interest in astronomy.However there are some cons,eliciting my three star review.This item requires a usb adaptor, there is no remote, and only has a two hour maximum timer.Also the rotation speed can't be adjusted.The set speed is fine for the galaxy images, however is too slow for the holiday ones. If these issues are of no consequence feel free to make your purchase.This product makes a fun gift for kids, or adults who enjoy creating romantic environments.

The media could not be loaded. This makes you feel like a kid again!!! I absolutely love this and would keep it on all the time if I could cause it's just so vibrant with it's colors, fills the whole room of my apartment. It has adjustments for 1 or 2 hours and you can change the speed of the rotation.It comes with 2 boxes that contain 6 disks in each for 13 total including the one that comes already inserted in the globe. I was projecting on my walls, ceilings, floors, across the kitchen . ... it didn't matter where I projected, it looked dazzling in 4K and the colors you see are the same ones I saw on the walls. My walls are even a light shade of olive and it still looked amazing.I highly recommend this for any age as it's peaceful, calming, fun and OH just hit the button and get it, you wont regret it!!!By the way, I actually dropped mine on an hardwood floor and nothing broke or chipped off. It's pretty sturdy and it rotates around and you can control how fast or slow with the rotation button. It's pretty great and you just plug it into a USB plug and it goes to work. Great for traveling as many hotels now have USB port plugs so you can create a peaceful and colorful environment for you or your child to fall asleep to and it turns itself off!Lastly, I know at least one review complained that their image on the disc was blurry and that's because you have to focus it! There's a place for you to focus each disc after you load it. They are crisp, beautiful and very clear to see!No complaints . . . just go for it!
