This guy is very cute. He's chubby and flat at the same time: his torso is pretty wide. Weight distribution is fair, there is extra weight in the back legs and I'm concerned about long term durability because of this, but so far so good. He's cute, cuddly, and soothing.

I am an early elementary teacher, and these stuffed animals have been a wonderful addition to our classroom's stash of sensory calming tools. What truly sets this stuffed animal apart is its effectiveness in aiding emotional regulation. The gentle pressure it exerts has a remarkably soothing effect, almost like receiving a warm hug from a friend.

So soft, well made and the weight is perfect. The weight is spread out evenly. If you're not a big fan of stuffed animals, this one will be one you won't want to part with.

He loved this gift and keeps it close by. He has some kind of brain issue. he puts everything in his mouth that we gove him for fidgeting which is an issue of safety. But the weight of this does not really let that happen. He just pets it.However, that said, he was able to tear the ear off. therefore the reason for the 4 stars.he is a bit obsessive with fidgety things, but this has been the best thing for him so far! The other ear remains intact.I am glad we got the 3 lb vs 5 lb. the 3 lb is heavy enough!

We were shopping for a secret Santa and the child wanted a weighted puppy for stress and anxiety. This stuffed animal was just as expected. Heavy, soft, and just right. Would definitely recommend this.

I ended up ordering 3 dogs, only one was cute and lovable. Read all 3 reviews.12/1/23 This puppy is so sweet and silky soft. Purchased as a possible gift, I examined and tried out this little guy...OMG! He fit naturally in the crook of my arm and I instinctively cuddled and petted him, I wanted to hug him like a baby. I think of him as a boy, which is probably politically incorrect or something, but a think a bow could make this sweet pup a girl. Sorry if I offended anyone.12/8/23 The three pound puppy was so cute that I ordered the five pound dog for an older child. Big disappointment. Long snout, not cute. Not weighted in body, just very heavy legs. No cute little back pack to carry him in. The 5-pounder goes back!12/11/23 Within hours or ordering the 3 pound dog, I ordered a second 3 pound dog (much later delivery date). I did not receive what was ordered. They send the ugly, long snouted, heavy legged 5 pound dog and no tote. With this, I changed my 5 star review to one star.

I bought this for my granddaughter who loves dogs, but really can't take of one now. Well, it's so darn cute and weighty, I may keep it for myself and get another one for her. Appears to be very well made and a steal at this price.
