Easy set up. Ease of use. Bought for son that is handicapped due to a car wreck and has limited hand/arm use. He is able to navigate the joystick and play. Physical Therapy says can is beneficial for fine motor skills.

I bought this as a gift, and except for a couple of tapes, it was wonderfully sealed which makes it look brand new. The product itself was amazing, especially for this price which is way more affordable and matches the quality of the console. We were ready to use cables for the controllers as I had read many complaints in the comments, but experienced no issues at all. The games are hard, because Atari games ARE HARD haha. Additionally, you can buy a microSD card and add a lot of games, which is an amazing plus. Overall it was an excellent purchase and I recommend it for anyone who wants to relive their old-school gaming days.

Let me start by pointing out you can power this thing with a small power brick (I usually use to charge my iPhone or other devices), meaning you don't ever have to plug it into the wall. Combine that with the fact the controllers can run off AA batteries (or you can plug them into the device if you don't have batteries) and you have something that is FULLY portable. I pull it out of my backpack and can plug it into any TV or computer monitor with the supplied HDMI cable and can play pretty much any Atari 2600, 5200, 7800, MAME, Turbo Grafix 16, NES, SNES, Sega Master System, and Sega Genesis game....anywhere and whenever I want. I've tried 100's of them to success. A couple of the VERY intense Sega Genesis games experienced "slight" slowdown, but the vast majority of them play very well. *small* con: the controllers are cheap and plasticy. However, they are fully functional. It even has a spinner on the end to serve as the paddle on the Atari 2600 paddle games. The controller is fine, but is the only slight disappointment to me compared to the rest of the system. Also, the wireless thing on the controllers is nice, but I hope your smart TV has a "game mode" setting, else the lag will be bothersome. Game Mode will help for sure. Also, you can directly plug the controllers (or other controllers) into the console via a micro USB cable if you dont wanna use batteries which will also help with the controller input lag. What I mentioned above is where I will stop now because that's more than enough to make this device very well worth it to anyone that's a fan of classic gaming. GET THIS.

Product was defective and then the return process was a nightmare. Seller refunded me 50% of the sale price, for a restocking fee for a defective product. Needless to say, I contacted Amazon.

There are significant delays and slow response of the controllers which make using the games difficult. Also, some games do not open properly.

This is really fun but was slightly disappointed that it doesn’t come with some classic games like Frogger, Pitfall, etc.

Buena presentación, materiales de buena calidad. Excelente que los controles sean inhalambricos y con opción de toma de corriente alambrica por usb-c. Mi crítica es con la jugabilidad al usar los controles, la palanca es más sensible de lo esperado y se mueve fácilmente con un mínimo toque y en ocasiones tengo la sensación de que tarda en responder de manera paradójica. Además de que al tener 2 botones adicionales en la palanca, se presionan con facilidad por error y resta confort. La cantidad de juegos es buena, pero esperaba que incluyera títulos famosos como Mario Bros o Joust o Moon Patrol o Choplifter, Ms pacman, etc. Lo bueno es que puede configurarse la micro sd para correr roms externos, quedando resuelto esa situación. En general, considero una buena opción para coleccionar ya que tiene opción de jugar roms de diferentes consolas de Atari más los arcade y los juegos bonus, aunque por lo comentado con la jugabilidad, considero que debería tener un costo más bajo.
