This product lasts for ages, doesn't take up much space in my gym bag and is a lot nicer to use than aerosol shaving gel or foam. The razor slips over nicely with fewer niggles and scrapes and the products smells pleasant. The tea tree ensures that any accidental nicks are dealt with quickly and easily!! It's great that once you get to the end of the first bottle you can just unscrew the pump mechanism and put it on the refill. It encourages recycling without the faff. The only complaint I have about the product (and I am being picky) is that it dries quite quickly on the face - although it can be refreshed easily by rubbing over some plain water.

If you like a smooth and clean wet shave think about it. What do you spend on gel/foam/aftershave in a year? With this kit all you need are your hands and a good razor (you need a good razor for any decent shave). One squirt of the blue, work it up in your palms and on your stubble ; shave with fingertip check and redirection of the blade as necessary ; when as smooth as you like - rinse. Single squirt of the gold and deep wash your face. Couple of squirts of the white smoothed over your skin and your looking good. It's worth the effort and though small this stuff will last a long time. Joy!!

So mine finally ran out, conviniently on 31st Dec 2021. I bought it 14 months ago! So it did live up to the "1 years worth" of shaves. I shaved twice a week and on rare occasions 3 times, and sometimes I used more than a pumps worth, maybe a pump and a half if my beard was a lot. The scent is nice, not too strong. The cream whips up nicely but I never used a brush but can't say much about that, I used my slightly wet hands to whip it up into a lather.I wouldn't buy it again only because it was a shaving cream and not a gel which I prefer using. I didn't realise it was a cream until I got it, so I was stuck with it for over a year.

Very good shave cream. I use one pump into my shaving brush and it works up into a lovely lather. Skin feels great after shaving. Was so impressed ordered the face wash and matt moisturiser to go with it. Very happy with this product.

One squeeze does a full shave and the Refill Starter Kit lasts for absolutely ages. Far less bulky and more environmentally friendly than aerosols. I use it every day and have done for years. Highly recommended.

I love this stuff!I have tried a great many shaving foams and I only became very particular about what foam I use when I started using a safety razor.This stuff is very concentrated and a 1p sized portion is more than enough. To get the best results use a badger brush in order to make sure the creme activates and foams up. You don't need a particularly thick coating for it to work just 2mm ish and your razor will glide like a virgin swallow.I shave roughly 2-3 times a week and this lasts me around 6-7 months. It might be pricey but just think how many cans of foam you would have bought in that time and the cost.

If, like me , you wet shave with a brush then Men-U's Shave Creme is a pretty decent product. Squirt a surprisingly small mount onto a shaving brush and you get a light foam that doesn't dry out your skin or clog your razor and provides a smooth shave. In terms of performance I really can't fault it.What it lacks however, is a particularly appealing odour. Unlike many shaving soaps Men-U's Shave Creme doesn't contain any sandalwood or a refreshing hit of citrus. It has a clean smell, but one that feels entirely functional. If you're looking for something which lingers a little, post shave, then I recommend looking elsewhere.The pump dispenser the Creme comes in works reasonably well, providing just the right amount of cream each time for most of each bottle's lifespan. Its only as you reach the end of a bottle that its design becomes frustrating. With every bottle I have purchased I have ended up having to unscrew the cap and scoop out the last remnants of creme, as the pump ceases to work. If it was just a few drops that refused to come out this wouldn't be an issue, but there's usually a significant amount left in the bottle when the pump stops pumping. I have had a couple of weeks of shaves from what I've managed to scoop out of supposedly empty bottles of Men-U Shave Creme.That niggling issue apart however, I can recommend the Creme to anyone looking for an effective, functional shaving creme. I will confess that I no longer use it because I prefer shaving soap with a stronger fragrance, but I never had a bad shave when using the Men-U Creme and will happily use the bottle I have been provided for free via the Amazon Vine Program in exchange for this unbiased review.
