Good crappie trolling rob
The rod is actually very dark purple and very dark blue. The foam grips are black. I feel like that should’ve been in the description. I got a pair of the 12’ two piece rods. For me they work great trolling crank baits with them for crappie. I was surprised how light they were. Good rods.

A fine rod indeed
Amazing and fun rod. The action is pure from tip to butt. It is fun and yet has solid strength. I would recommend this for anyone who has the chance to catch fish clear up to the 40 pound range without any hesitation.I also own the 7 foot model. It is every bit as strong and fun.

TRY ONE
Nice feel(different)thin handle, cord wrapped. Fits well & has OK flex. Looks good but no show on line/lure weights. On line says 15-30lb line! I've seen info up to 3/4 oz & 4oz rods this size(15-30lb line) I'll gently be tossing 1/2-1oz w/15lb line. Should be OK & rod lasts.

Great trolling rod
Very sensitive, yet very durable trolling rod. I own 12 of these rods and have had them bent over without breakage. Highly recommend the rod.

Great rod!
VERY nice rod this is my second B&M rod. I use both for catfishing, sensitive enough for small catfish yet has great backbone for larger fish. Fit and finish for a rod at this price point exceptional!

This rod is amazing for the price. I recommend this to anybody wanting to catch some big cats on a budget. Its better than most rods double or triple its price.

Was a great rod, until it wasn’t
Bought this rod last summer for a trip to the coast we go on twice a summer. I ordered an 8 ft, should have gotten a longer rod…took it on the first 2 day trip end of June, worked fine, never caught anything bigger than 20 inches. 2nd trip august last year as well, 3 day trip, never really caught anything.Fast forward a year, took the rod on our first summer trip in may, caught several good fish nothing over 24” rod did ok, went on second trip last weekend, caugh 3 BIG redfish, rod seemed ok, then hung a 44” black drum, got it to the pier while maneuvering the fish to the net, the first 4 inches of my rod snapped off. So sad, and of course my return window was past, don’t see any warranty info on Amazon so I guess that’s that. If you plan on catching anything over 30 pounds you may want to reconsider this rods capability
