Does a good job
These are perfect for taking care of cat tangles. They are quiet and less scary for my cat than traditional clippers.

Didn't work on human or animal hair.
Bought to trim a cat that hates electric clippers. It was silent as expected, but simply didn't cut hair at all. Tried all different angles, holding the hair etc, but managed to cut nothing in the end.I tried on my arm hair, but even after a few passes probably cut less than 5% of the hair on each pass going slowly and carefully - and that's best case with a compliant human on a flat part of a limb.

Top issue is that the cap is plastic
had to get a 3mm nut to replace the nut that hold everything together because honestly, it's a decent clipper for what I paid. The cap is a plastic part painted silver with a rubber bit inside. Keep the rubber part.I wanted something I could keep with me that didn't use power, but this is 100% a cheap manufactured product and if you wanna be more conscious of what you buy, maybe go on another platform. If you need to shave your head for $10, it'll work. It's gonna come in very oiled and the directions are in Chinese. You are paying for cheap mass manufactured goods. If this is an issue, you can find better ones for $40+ more that might have been made 1920 that still work.Long term, I think taking it apart to clean after every use (or once a month) and replacing the plastic after it breaks, it'll last. Keep the rubber part so the metal doesn't fuse.If you need to care something to shave and you don't know that you'll have power, it'll work.YOU HAVE TO LEARN HOW TO USE IT. You need to consistently squeeze and release. Shaving your whole head or the sides you can see would be a good starting place, but you have to learn how to use them without pulling on your hair. Don't be scared of them. I have yet to cut myself. and I cut my hair weekly. First week was a little uneven, but just had to go over it again and we're good.

Very Pleased
My baby girl, Tinky (a Maltese dog), had congestive heart failure. As such, it was extremely important to keep her as stress-free as possible. She was terrified of the noise made by electric clippers. I bought these manual clippers to keep her trimmed without stressful noise. These work surprisingly well. While they were not designed for guard attachments, I found a set of cheap guards at Sally Beauty Supply that worked just fine.

Screws broke right away
There is a thumbscrew at the top that literally fell to pieces in my hand the moment I went to unscrew it. I had to go to the hardware store to find a wing nut to replace it and because it is metric I paid a lot for one little wing nut.

Waste of Money, Doesn't work
I got this to use on my dog who hates the buzzing of the clippers. These came dull and do not cut worth a flip. Can't handle anything but the thinnest hair and even then, it doesn't cut half the hair. Don't waste your money.

Works Perfectly.
A drop of 3 in one oil, work it a few times, then wipe off the excess and go to trimming. My Shih Tzu has very fine hair and this is quick and easy to slip under hair mats and clip them off before they get badShipping was FAST and the packaging was pretty good.
