This blender pitcher works like the original. I had been using the original pitcher for a few years but the blade was not as sharp anymore so I tried this one and I have been pleased as it works similarly to the original one. It fits perfectly into my blender , it is light , easy to clean and offers good value for my money.

So disappointed with this repurchase. The first one I purchased a few years ago was great—no issues and lasted for a few years even with daily use. However, the replacement I purchased in October is absolute trash. First, the lid doesn't seal and stay on at high speeds, so if you're doing something like making cashew milk, which requires a high speed, the lid flies off, and you end up with a complete mess. So I was having to babysit my blender anytime I used it—couldn't even go to the other side of the kitchen to fetch jars without fear of it popping off. Now, less than 4 months after I purchased it, it leaks from the bottom while blending. Buyer beware! This does not handle the robust tasks you need it to handle if you're using it with a Vitamix. Total waste of $50.

So glad I purchased this and brought my blender back to life! The motor/base was fine. The original pitcher eventually crashed after years of heavy use. I bought another off Amazon and loved it for years. But kids put it in the dishwasher (which was supposed to be fine) and it warped. Still it functioned so we kept using it. The coating underneath near the gear slowly chipped off which I hated, not wanting any to end up in the food. I decided to replace again and this one is perfect!

Had to go with this when unable to get part to fit. Only neede blades ending yo getting canister as well.

I bought this because the seals around the blade assembly were leaking. The new one is working very well. The only negative is the new black lid does not fit well. Rather than continue to struggle with it, I am using the old lid which fits fine and stays on. The lip on the new one needs some redesign to match the lip design from the original lid.

Love this replacement! I like that it’s a little bit wider than my old one so that the frozen fruit can sit at the bottom and be in contact with the blade

Worked great with my old vitamix
