Double K Industries Groomers Edge Aromatic Shampoo Gallon

After trying hundreds of shampoos over years and years of grooming, I have a handful of favorites that I always keep on hand. This is one of them!This shampoo can be used as an all purpose, as it cleans very well and rinses great with no residue but it is especially good for itchy or irritated skin. Dogs that have not been bathed in awhile (stale, greasy, dandruff etc) or who are bothered by insects will find soothing relief with this shampoo. I have used it on my own hair in situations where allergies, mosquitoes etc cause my skin to feel itchy and it is the most soothing relief I have had from any product for humans or animals. Even after bathing dogs in it all day, my hands feel soft.The aroma is a soothing, mild menthol/camphor aroma. It does seem to kill fleas, although not as quickly as a shampoo that has pesticide - you may need something stronger for knockdown if you have a flea or tick problem - but this is a great shampoo to deal with occasional fleas and certainly is the most soothing thing you can use to help with the itching. I think it has some repellant effect on bugs too. I have used this one on myself and dogs when camping or after coming home for example.A couple traits of this shampoo - do not dilute it beyond what the label says to do. I find that 8:1 is about as weak as you want to go with this one. What that translates to is that you wont get as much mileage out of a gallon, but then if you have an itchy dog or insects then it is worth every penny. I probably use this shampoo more often than any just for that reason. It makes the dogs coat nice, and the dogs seem to feel really good after a bath with this - it does them a favor, it really does. Also, over time, the coats seem to stay nice and keep that 'after bath' freshness for a longer time than with a lot of shampoos.Because of the menthol effect, I only use this shampoo from the ears back - keep it away from the eyes, if you wash the top of the head or around the eyes you might want to use something milder for that. Other than that, I have never had a dog react with anything but relief from this shampoo - it is one of the most trustworthy, and soothing things on the market in my experience.

Clean your pet and clear you sinuses at the same time! Very Aromatic! Lasts a few days on the pups.

Bought this and donated to a shelter were my daughter volunteers. Have used it in the past for a dog with fleas. Works great as a flea shampoo because of the natural oils. I liked it because it has no chemicals. Plus the dogs smell great and their coats look great too!!! I would recommend this product to anyone. Works Great!
