Great welder for the price. Excellent to learn on with a few extra amps and features from the previous model. Adjustable post flow is handy as well as pulse. It means that I can grow my skills a little longer with this model before moving on. Well built and easy to use. Have connected it to a 9lt Hobby Argon cylinder with dual gauge regulator and it just works great. Tig torch seems fairly standard to me. Standard consumables fit which is all I need to know right now. Still getting used to using the switch and getting a comfortable hand-torch position but once again, it seems well built to me. Stick stinger is... what it is! Lamentable folding safety visor, which I will keep for people I dislike enough to blind with my welding. Service and delivery were spot on. Arrived early and well packaged. Happy man.

I purchased this welder mainly as a replacement for an old "buzz box" stick (MMA) welder but liked the feature of having TIG welding built in too. I have used the welder for MMA welding so far so cannot comment on its TIG capabilities although the TIG torch look to be of a reasonable quality. The feature which I liked in contrast to the old welder which I was using previously is the easy adjustment of the welding current, this means that I can easily fine tune when making multiple passes, lowering the current as I go which is much easier than on the old machine. The overall MMA welding performance was impressive, even after a long session of welding.I also find the size and particularly the light weight of the machine to be a definite benefit as I use the welder in several locations. I did remove the cover (I am suitably qualified to do this) as when the welder was delivered the mains cable gland was loose and the cable was not being gripped , so this needed tightening. The interior of the welder looked to be well made and of good quality.

I have recently retired and decided I could make metal figurines for my grandchildren. I trained as a welder many years ago, but have not struck an arc for 25 years. I found the TIG MMA set easy to use and the arc characteristics better than previous. The TIG arc initiates well with the HF and the pulse facility makes it easier to maintain a weld pool. The MMA is steady and smooth, even with basic electrodes. All round a good purchase and value for money.

Purchased this to mainly keep my Welding Codes current when not working.ARC :Works well with 6013 and 7018 rods on 1/4 inch Carbon plate and 6 mm wall Schedule 40 Pipe.See sample of a 3 pass ARC weld on a 1/4 inch T-Joint.TIG:TIG performs well. I have only welded Carbon steel with it, but so far its doing the job.See sample of a Root and Hot pass on 6 mm wall Schedule 40 3" Pipe.GENERAL:Duty Cycle is good. I haven't had it shut down on me when doing either ARC or TIG, just keeps on going. I am running this on 230V / 13amp power from home and no circuit breakers have popped since I'v owned it. Even when dialed all the way to max AMPS.COMPLAINTS:Only complaint is, the AMP dial is not correct when dialing in the required AMPS. Cheaper welders will never display correct AMPS on their LCD displays, so I expected that anyway That's why I don't mind this welder having no LCD display. The output displays are always misleading.Got to get a Kemppi, Miller, Lincoln or something in that price range to get accurate AMP output display.It's not a biggy, as it makes good practice setting AMPS based on your weld puddle rather than a number on a screen.NEXT: It's not a complaint as much as an annoying thing with these Chinese welders.The hand held welding helmet they all supply is useless. You can't weld and hold a welding helmet unless you have 3 arms. And you definitely can't TIG weld and hold a helmet. So why sell it?Anyway that's personal choice, but throw the one they supply in the bin if my opinion matters to you. That goes for the chipping hammer as well.If you need a cheap helmet I have attached what I use on a daily basis. Theses are around €15.00. Auto darkeners are good but buy a good brand. One with at least 4 sensors and a Low Amperage TIG Rating down to 2 amps if your welding light material..All in All a great little welder and well worth the price and I highly recommend it..

Very nice welder. Easy to use making very nice weld. I use mainly as a stick welder and is great at it.I have also bought a in expensive conversion to use as a plasma cutter which it does well at as well.I am in experience in Tig welding but seems to make light work at anything I put in it;s way.As for Duty It just keeps on running. I use max around 140amp this is on a 13amp plug

Bought this welder to replace an ancient arc unit I had which was a dead weight and lacked the ability to fine tune the amperage. The TIG option was also a big plus though I have yet to use it. The welder is FAR lighter and more compact than my old welder and the range of power adjustment is great when using different rods on various thicknesses of steel while doing chassis repairs on my van. This welder is a winner for the price.

BonjourDepuis que j'ai reçu le nouveau poste a souder suite au défaut du précédent je l'ai utilisé une fois à la réception il paraissait fonctionner et ce week end j'ai voulu faire de la soudure et le poste fait comme l'ancien (la même panne)Il amorce pas et des flammes se forme au bout de la baguette je suis vraiment déçuJe suis soudeur et ai besoin d'un poste pour fabriquer des chose chez moiDites moi ce qu'on peut faire j'ai le poste depuis avril et l'ai utiliser que deux foisMerci de votre réponseCordialementMr Stip damien
