RigolDigital Oscilloscope DHO924 250MHz Frequency Band + 12-bit Vertical Resolution + Maximum 1.25 GSa/s Sample Rate + 4 Analog Channels

I purchased this scope specifically for the memory depth of 50 Mega-points. That has been very handy to be able to capture a wide window, but be able to really zoom in to see details. Overall, I do like the scope and am happy with the purchase. It is a good value for the price.The only negatives for me so far: 1.) It takes a long time to start, like a FULL MINUTE. 2.) It does not save the settings you last were using. It resets to defaults every power up. It can save and recall setups, but I really wish it would just turn back on with the same setting you left it with. This includes the fact that it defaults to a low sample setting and you have to change it to a higher one every time. That has made me miss data more than once. 3.) You can't get data off the scope by plugging it in using the USB cable, you have to copy it onto a thumb drive. Not the end of the world, but it uses an android operating system, so I don't know why it wouldn't show up as a drive on my computer like my phone can.

Looks great, but have not had time to tryout yet

The scope has nice features, but the controls and display lack common sense. The options are mostly touch screen menu driven - this is very slow when you're trying to work. The scope also does not remember your setup, so you MUST load your setup every time you use it. Better learn to save your setup right away. Again - it's nice to have a setup file system but it's also very slow and you have way too many drop down menus and options that are just ridiculously complicated. So really, that's my problem with this scope - it's too complicated for people that use this tool on a bench in a professional manner. Might be great for a hobbyist who doesn't mind spending a lot of time in on-screen menus to change configurations for different measurements.

Arrived neatly packed. However, when I plugged in the power supply and pressed the power button, it turned green (was red), the buttons to the right of the display briefly blink on and then turn off, the fan starts, and the display is dead. Multiple power cycles, no change, fiddling with knobs, no change. So much for quality control. Looks like it's going back.

Great display and controls, menus are intuitive and all make sense. For the price, it is really a good scope. One quirk is that it can't seem to remember the trigger mode (auto vs edge) with power-down even with the latest firmware. More annoying is that with too noisy of a circuit, it just powers down, so I can't measure some systems with it. Worth the money though because it works for most

I don’t know the bosse scope hasn’t showed up yet some snafu with Fedex???????Not happy we really needed it to fix a problem.I will need to try borrow one hopefully someday the one I ordered will come in?
