GOOD BATTERY !

I was ready to write a really bad review. The first SURPOWER CR1/3N battery worked great with a brand new LaserMax Centerfire laser unit. When it started getting dim way faster than I thought it should, I replaced it with another SURPOWER CR1/3N battery out of the same package. It was dim as well. I threw that one away and tried another one with the same result. I finally gave up and bought a name-brand battery and it was dim as well. So I realized the issue wasn't with the batteries. I had already tried cleaning the laser lens with a paper towel and that didn't work. So I got an old toothbrush and went over it a few times and lit up the wall with the laser. It made a night and day difference. So the issue was actually carbon build-up no the lens. A quick search shows people recommending cleaning carbon build-up with CLP, gun oil or pencil erasers.

These are standard batteries and the big concern is taking delivery of batteries with a short shelf life. I was very pleased to see that I have a good 5 years shelf life with these batteries. I've already put several in service and they are working great.

These batteries are a good value for the money. Comparable to other batteries in the marketplace. Definitely bye.

These battery's seem to last longer. I have a Viridian laser on my Ruger .380 pocket pistol. The laser comes on automatically when I pull the pistol out of it's holster. The laser's remote control or on /off switch is simply a magnet. I mounted the magnet into the holster & super Glued it in place. While the gun is in the holster the laser is off. When I pull the pistol out of the holster the laser turns on instantly. I sometimes wonder, how long are these two Battery's going to last before they get weak or die.
