I've easily purchased this mascara at least three or four times. It has become the most consistent item in my make-up bag. I have even used it on my girls for ballet recitals.I'm a little confused by other reviews, some saying it's too wet, others say its too dry; some say its too thin, others say it's clumpy. Maybe you're confused too. So, here is my honest opinion after using it consistently for a long time.- Gentle - It's hands-down the least irritating mascara I've ever used. I have dry, sensitive eyes that water over nothing at all, PLUS I'm allergic to the preservatives in most cosmetics (phenoxyethanol). This one doesn't bother me in the least. I could probably sleep with it on, and would recover just fine in the morning.- It is NOT WATERPROOF. - Non-waterproof mascaras run when they get wet. It's why waterproof mascara was invented. So...this will run when wet. I'm ok with that, because I don't expect it to be waterproof. I live in the South, where it is hot and humid nine months out of the year, and have never had a problem with the product running or getting in my eyes.- It is NOT clumpy. - Again, I've gone through three or four tubes of it, and the product has been *very* consistent. I would say that it is on the thinner side, but I actually like that, because I can build as much as I want and still not have lashes like taratula legs. However, it is not so thin that I have to keep applying. Two coats usually does it.- Color - The color is actually quite nice. It is a dark brown, not jet black. Chic, without looking overdone.- Price - The price does seem a little high. I don't like to pay more than $20 for any one item in my makeup bag. However, for something that I can wear all day, that doesn't irritate my eyes, and that feels genuinely flattering, I'll pay a bit more.Overall, a great option!

I don't typically leave reviews, but this was such a disappointment and waste of my resources. Because mascara is the ONLY makeup I wear on a regular basis, it's important to me that #1 - it's "clean" & cruelty free, #2 that it's buildable and lengthens without being clumpy, #3 that it lasts the day, and #4 that is does not smear, run or flake. The Juice Beauty Phyto-Pigments Ultra-Natural Mascara is clumpy, it does not lengthen, it takes a lot of the product to look remotely visible, and smears after a couple hours - and sooner if there's any heat or humidity. The one thing that it does meet is my "clean" and cruelty free requirement. Of all the natural mascaras I’ve tried this one was unfortunately the the worst.

I’ve been using this brand for a few years now. I have sensitive eyes, and this one has never given me issues because of the clean ingredients in it. It was also cheaper on Amazon versus ulta which was a bonus

The mascara - Smudged and was hard to build upon to make my lashes look longer without clumpy. Then it wore off very quickly.

I really like how natural this mascara looks on. I don't want fake looking lashes but just for them to be seen better. I am not a fan of dramatic makeup. I like to keep it simple. A clean face with moisturizer a little brow powder, my upper lid gets a a highlight on the upper brow bone and a highlight eyeliner effect both from a champagne eye crayon and then this mascara. It is easy to apply and remove and looks clump free and natural however it is not sweat or tear proof which is why I gave it a 4.
