Found my tire was low, next day found the screw that went into it. I had plugged little tires before, ATV's and such, once a car. Figured it was worth a try. Directions are not great, but that was OK. You pull the nail/ screw out, reem out the hole, push a plug in, pull the handle back out, it disconnects leaving the plug in the hole. Trim off the excess and you are done. Mine was in a thick part of a truck tire, so took a bit more effort than I remembered, and I had never used the lubricant included, but it helped. Cost was about half what my local mechanic charges, so already saved me money, but now I have the tools, with replacement ends, and a lot of plugs, so pure savings for everyone I do from now on. And came in a nice little storage case. This did take a fair amount of strength, and it is important to have a way to refill the tire with air when you are done, so not a gift I would give to my mother, but certainly helpful for me to have around for the next time I pick up a nail.

This worked great and even a better price. Pulled a nail out did the repair and have had no issues in 2 weeks of heavy driving!

Haven’t used this tire repair kit yet. Built like a tank, unlike the plastic handled products. My thinking is an overbuilt product is less likely to fail in the dark during a rainstorm than a less expensive plastic handled product.

One of the insert needles broke during use and couldn't find info to contact company for replacement. Otherwise quite satisfactory with duplicate parts and lots of rubber inserts. Good price.

I ordered this kit because I had a nail in my tire and tire store told me I had to replace the one year old tire. I had repaired a tire years ago with a single handle tool which I lost in my last few moves. This kit is much nicer than just a handle and worked very well. The included lube helped the reamer insert easy and the only thing that required a strong pull was pulling the plug back out while holding the ring against the tire. There is no pliers included as instructions refer to but that was all I needed other than the kit. The blade included cut the excess plug very easy. After 24 hours the tire has not leaked and looks good.
