Bought one of these for my 13 year old dog's bed as we live in the NE and it's colder this time of year. I placed it on top of the dog orthopedic bed and under the blanket. It doesn't slip when on top of the bed. My dog seems to just fall asleep easily with a lot less moaning (e.g. arthritis etc). This was so effective that I just purchased a second one for the upstairs bed. This product seems safe, and I don't need to worry about whether it'll overheat since it heats by the dog's body heat (not electricity). I just washed the outside--it was easy to remove, wash and easy to replace. My only question was whether I could put it in the dryer safely but I just left it on top and it dried quickly.

This is large enough to fit where I wanted. Both my cats seem to like it, so must find it warming. I wish it were a little more plush. I actually folded a towel to slip under it to help make it softer and now they are on it every time they are in the that room.

NOT very thick and DOES still make noise BUT our stay cat loves it. We had a little bed we bought that she didn't love or use often. Once we put this mat on top of the bed it's all she uses and all she wants to do.

Our Yorkie seems to appreciate the body heat-reflecting bed but it seems quite thin and flimsy. The top of the cover is fleecy and soft but the non-slip dots came off the bottom of the cover in the wash and I spent a long time picking them off the other items in the load: use a mesh bag! Think I will order a higher quality version to replace this one.

I bought this for my elder cat who is suffering from a terrible illness. I wanted her to have some warmth while she’s sleeping. Even though she has a very cushy lair, I wanted something that would warm her directly.As soon as I put this in her bed, she curled up on it and was instantly comfortable. Now I can feel a little more at ease when she sleeps, especially at night. She won’t be cold.I am very grateful for this bed warmer.
