Men's Watch LZ127 GRAF Automatic 7656

This is my 2nd Graf Zeppelin. I bought this one because of the copper numerals and that it's an automatic. As expected from Graf Zeppelin, the craftmanship and attention to detail on this watch is excellent. The watch case is an ideal size. Big enough for a man's watch, but not some huge monstrosity that looks like you have a plate on your wrist. I like the straight forward detail of the case and lug. The leather band takes a few days to form to your wrist, but is good quality and wears well. The movement is a proven Japanese automatic and I've experienced about a 35 hour power reserve with very good accuracy. However, it's the copper numerals on the dark dial that makes this watch really stand out! The copper numerals are unique in this price range. They have a slightly italicized font. The hour and second hands are also well thought out and provide a nice overall finish to the watch dial\face. This combination makes for a gorgeous watch. I own a lot of watches at different price points. This is one of the nicest watches I've purchased in a while. It's perfect for almost any occasion such as wearing to the office every day, or for date night with the Mrs. I would not recommend it for any rigorous outdoor activities. It's much too pretty a watch for that. Every time I take this watch off to wear a different one, it's beauty makes me want to put it back on and wear it one more day!

I realize that looks are subjective but to me this watch is simply stunning. The copper numerals and hands are very distinctive and reflect available light well so it's easy to read the time. The strap is well made and comfortable.Everything about the watch shouts quality. The case is quite shiny and unique in profile. It's certainly handsome enough to be wore anywhere. I'm a sucker for retro styling so for me it was a no brainer. At 40mm it's fairly large but not ridiculous. It's built in Germany, using a Citizen Miyota movement that is very accurate, more so that my Swiss automatics. While the second hand isn't hackable, I just ignore it and set the minute hand. The hour and minute hands are luminous and remain so for several hours, plus they appear almost white during the day which enhances the retro look. I own several watches, including a vintage Heuer Autavia (not a Tag Heuer) and a Limes and the quality of this watch matches them. It's become my favorite! I can see another Zeppelin watch in my future. I purchased it here at Amazon and Watchmann was prompt in shipping and the item was packaged securely. In summary I highly recommend the watch and the shipper.

No es lo que esperaba. En la imagen el color de los números es blanco, pero el que me llegó es muy diferente. No me agradó ese cambio inesperado y no solicitado. Por otro lado, no use el reloj por 4 días; ayer decidí usarlo y para mi sorpresa la marcha del reloj se había detenido. Tuve que actualizar la hora manualmente. ¿Será que me vino con falla?

I think this is a great watch for the price. Very classy look, not a cheap looking build like a fossil. Dose not look like a cheap watch at all. Very satisfied.

Die Zeppelin LZ 127 hatte ich schon länger ins Auge gefasst, da meine alte Automatik-Uhr immer wieder Probleme gemacht hat. Daher habe ich mich letztlich auch für sie entschieden. Optisch ist die Uhr ein echter Hingucker: die dezente Farbgebung mit dem gelb eingekreisten Z und der roten Typenbezeichnung LZ 127, dazu der dunkelbraune Hintergrund mit den kupfernen Ziffern wirkt zeitlos elegant. Ein anderer Rezensent sprach treffend "von einem Hauch von Steampunk". Spiegelt sich (Sonnen-)Licht auf den Ziffern, wirkt sie um so schöner. Insgesamt ist die Uhr auch perfekt "gestylt" und das Ziffernblatt nicht so überladen wie bei anderen Uhren. Was man aber berücksichtigen sollte: Automatikuhren in diesem Preissegment besitzen in der Regel ein japanisches Automatikwerk, bei dem Gangabweichungen zwischen 10 und 40 Sekunden am Tag üblich sind. Dies hängt von Trage- und Ablagegewohnheiten ab, aber auch von der Außentemperatur und dem Luftdruck. Mein Exemplar hat eine Abweichung zwischen 15 und 20 Sekunden am Tag. Das heißt, ich muss sie alle drei bis vier Tage um eine Minute zurückstellen. Dies war mir bewusst und stellt für mich kein Problem dar. Wessen Tag ist schon sekundengenau getaktet? Aber wer zuvor eine mit Batterien betriebene Uhr besessen hat und ganggenaue Uhren gewohnt ist, sollte sich über diese absolut normalen Gangabweichungen im Klaren sein. Die Leuchtmasse der Zeiger leuchten im Dunkeln ... eine Zeit lang ... nach. Nicht zu lange, aber auch das ist für mich unproblematisch. Das Armband war zu Beginn sehr steif und musste ein paar Tage eingetragen werden, es sieht mit der Maserung aber schick aus und passt sehr gut zur Uhr. Insgesamt kann ich diese wunderschöne Uhr empfehlen; sie läuft seit dem Sommer ohne Probleme und ich würde sie allein von ihrer Optik her auch deutlich teurerer Uhren vorziehen, wenn ich das Geld dafür hätte. Die Uhr trage ich jeden Tag und lege sie beim Waschen, aber auch bei Haus- und Handwerksarbeiten und nachts ab. Sollten dennoch nicht von mir verursachte Mängel auftreten, würde ich meine Rezension hier updaten. Was mir auffiel: Ich habe im Sommer mehrere Tage nach Uhren hier bei Amazon gesucht und bin immer wieder auf die LZ 127 gestoßen. Dabei stellte ich fest, dass der Preis oft (auch an einem Tag) stark variierte. Der normale Preis scheint 199€ zu sein. Ich habe meine Uhr schließlich für 167€ gekauft. Wer also diese Uhr kaufen möchte und ein paar Tage Zeit zur Beobachtung hat, sollte die Preisentwicklung im Auge behalten und in einem geeigneten Moment zugreifen! Update: Im letzten Herbst fiel ohne Fremdeinwirkung (starker Stoß etc) plötzlich die Ziffer "1" vom Ziffernblatt ab und machte sich selbstständig. Zu diesem Zeitpunkt war meine Garantie bereits seit einem Vierteljahr abgelaufen. Ich erkundigte mich dann bei Point Tec und schickte die Uhr ein. Wenn sie schon repariert werden sollte, bat ich darum, auch die Ganggenauigkeit zu prüfen, da das Exemplar anderer Rezensenten sehr viel genauer zu gehen schien. Ich muss den Service der Firma Point Tec loben, da mir das Ziffernblatt trotz abgelaufener Garantie auf Kulanzbasis ersetzt wurde. Auch die Ganggenauigkeit wurde justiert und ich musste die Uhr seit über fünf Monaten nicht mehr stellen, sie pendelt zwischen -10 bis + 10 Sekunden. Die 5-Sterne-Bewertung bleibt aufgrund des hervorragenden Services und auch, weil ich in keiner anderen Rezension davon gelesen habe, dass eine Ziffer abgefallen ist!
