WiFi function works when I have it connect directly to the wireless router. However, if I want it to connect to a Wireless Access Point (which would work better in my setup) it won't stay connected. I've never before seen a device that has a problem with connecting to a WAP. Thought I had a dud at first.Would be nice to be able to access the thermostat directly over the local network, but that is not an option. The thermostat will only connect to the OJ Electronics server, and I have to go to their website to access the device. So it requires internet access both ways. If my internet connection goes down I lose access to the thermostat, even though it's on my local network.The touch screen is a little fiddly (typical of lower-end touch screens), but the nice thing is that you only have to deal with it for the initial setup. After that, most of the functions can be accessed via the web. Would be nice if ALL functionality were web-accessible.Aside from some relatively minor quibbles, I am overall happy with the purchase, and would recommend this thermostat.One year update: after spending almost a year putting up with the frustration of limited connectivity to the WAP, I called the company and they said it must be a defective thermostat, and they'd replace it. Glad I called before the warranty ran out. The replacement stays connected to the Wireless Access Point, no problem there. However, there still is the issue that I have to go through OJ Microline's server to access the thermostat - not crazy about that, but it's not a deal-breaker for me.

This is the kind of product that are made and designed in order to make a $50 plug-in radiant bathroom heater POPULAR. I mean, the interface of the touch screen control is in plain English but they have accomplished in turning that plain English into an incomprehensible gibberish! So much so, that trying to find out how to turn the thing OFF is impossible. I have to use the circuit breaker in my garage to turn the thing OFF. Please go buy a radiant heater, turn the heater on when you take a shower, turn it off when you leave the bathroom. Use the money saved to get wines to enjoy after the shower all the while congratulating yourself for not spending $$$ on this POS.
