One Bass Fishing Rod Reel Combo, Baitcasting Fishing Pole with Graphite 2Pc Blanks

Had a great time fishing with this. Love the cast and reel action. However I am having some issues with the line getting tangled some times when reeling in. I know I just need to make some adjustments on tension and stuff.

Combo arrived packaged well in cardboard box, bubble wrap, and protective sleeve for the 2-piece rod.I appreciate that! I have received improperly packaged rods before, with bent guides and broken tips from well known brands.This is a VERY attractive combo!Reel seat is blank-thru,exposed, for good bite detection and vibration transference and is well-made, strong, and secure. A nice strong hook keeper is provided.Guides are well made, securely epoxied and spaced properly. 1 on the butt section, 6 on the tip section.Stainless steel with inserts that are all smooth and set in well. Will handle braid no problem.Grips are very closed cell, smooth and firm with a comfortable, almost sanded cork feel and the midgrip is nicely stippled for grip with wet hands. Very nice!Mine is the 7' Medium Heavy, fast action version which is exactly how it feels. I've spooled with 15# fluorocarbon and it will be excellent for heavy single hook applications like swimbaits and jigs.I'm a little confused by the "5 side-by-side strong magnets" listed in the description as my sample has 7 magnets. The side cover is the twist lock type and is removed by pushing the front edge down 1/4 turn. It clicks into place when reassembling. The magnetic adjustment dial is accurate and has markings to indicate settings. Bearings look good and everything was properly lubricated. The spool tension knob is smooth and accurate as is the drag adjustment. Reel freewheels, casts, and retrieves perfectly and thumb bar releases and re-engages smoothly.The rod's ferrule is appropriately snug with a nice 2 3/4" depth connection for seamless vibration transmission and flex between the 2 pieces.The decorative appointments are well epoxied with no exposed threading and make for a very attractive rod. Silver, white, black, and blue. Nice!One Bass is Sougayilang. I have several Sougayilang products and have been happy with all of them. They offer a 1 year warranty and lifetime aftercare. Very nice!All in all, I'm super happy with this combo and I think you would be hard pressed to find another combo of this quality at this price and I have a few that I've spent much more on that were not near as nice.

i bought this and it was good for like a week but then the reel stopped casting as well and my fishing line got stuck inside of it

I recently received this Fishing Rod Reel Combo and I must say, I'm very impressed with it! The construction is tough and feels well-made, making it perfect for both beginner and experienced anglers.The fishing pole looks fancy and feels like it's ready to catch some big fish. I have yet to take this combo out and not fought with a birds nests, I have tried to get it dialed in but it's been a pain. The spool drag doesn't have a detent and I am not sure if I am moving it somehow when I cast but it is driving me crazy.

This is truly a fantastic set-up, not only for the novice but, for the experienced angler as well. Although I have not fished this rig yet, I can tell by my practice casts, this is gonna be a great piece of equipment. The fit and finish is excellent and the reel has all the bells and whistles you could want.I typically do not use 2-piece rods, but this one seems totally workable for the bass I'm after.Price wise a totally great deal. You can't touch a comparable reel for twice the money. I highly recommend this rig for yourself or as a gift.
