After buying the Hartz diapers and having poop and pee leaks everywhere, I decided to try these. The tail hole is so small that you have to pull the tail through, and that is the key to preventing leaks. No leaks in these! Bought the XS size for my 5 lb female cat.

Easy to fit for 6 month old kitten with "manx syndrome". He tolerates well. Good quality.

I really like the design of this diaper, especially the adjustable tail hole so there isn’t a gap around my cat’s tail when it’s on. HINT: Don’t expect the tail hole to fit out of the box. It’s made small - I’m sure on purpose - so use a pair of scissors to increase the size of the ‘X’ before you try it on your cat.I’m taking a star off my review though because the sizing chart doesn’t mention the total length of the diaper - the distance from one end to the other. According to the size chart, a Small should have fit my cat based on his waist - but it wasn’t long enough end to end. So I had to reorder to get Medium. And, there’s a VERY big difference between Small and Medium. Small is 14” length, but Medium is 18” (pictured here side by side). So Medium is what I need so it will reach my cat’s waist, though it means there’s extra bagginess width-wise between his legs when it’s on. Not a dealbreaker, I’ll take it in a heartbeat over him leaking everywhere.I suspect some other reviews that the diaper falls off is because it’s not put on properly. If the diaper is falling off:-make sure you’re using the right size.-it must be tucked all the way around the front of your cat’s haunch. See second picture, it has to be tucked into that narrow point inside the back leg.-once it’s all the way around the haunch, double-check the tabs are pulled tightly enough, if it’s too loose it will still fall off. On my cat the tabs almost touch on his back, to get it tight enough.

I bought these for my 20yo cat who suffered a stroke and is currently in recovery…. I honestly feel like these are a little bit too expensive for what you get. 1)these aren’t the best at absorbing. My cat will barely pee and the diapers either leak like crazy or it will SLOWLY get absorbed into the diaper. 2) yeah there’s the little hole for the tail, but I always have to make sure I go in and stretch it out a bit before putting it on otherwise it will just be plain uncomfortable for my cat and I fear may potentially cut off circulation to her tail. 3) doubling up on comfort. In order to reduce leaking you have to put it on a certain way, however that means it’s a little tight and look so uncomfortable on my cats legs. Like imagine wearing tight underwear and you just feel it digging in to your thighs..Don’t get me wrong, these are cute and might work for you, however it didn’t work for my old lady. What I ended up substituting it with are actual baby diapers that I have on hand. My cats about 18in round and she fits in size 4 diapers. After trying one out. I had cut a hole around the same spot as these diapers and i stretched it the same way and also shook it a bit to get the lil fluff and absorbent crystals out of the way a bit. I then put it on how I would this one and it not only fit my cat WAY more comfortably, but it also is faster at absorbing pee and it turns blue so I know it’s time to change diaper. I hasn’t leaked AND I’m not having to soak my cat to get any stuck on pee or poop out of her fur. Not to forget, it’s also so much cheaper to buy a pack of baby diapers compared to to these ones.If this brand works for you, go for it. But it didn’t work for me or my cat

I was skeptical about how these would work because the idea of a cat in diapers sounds crazy. But we were desperate as our girl began to lose bladder control at 22 years old. You have to slice the tail hole a bit so it is custom to your cat but once you figure that out, the diaper won’t leak. There is also a bit of a learning curve to get the tabs to be pulled “IN FRONT OF” the hip joint! If you don’t do this, the diaper will fall off. I found it best to have her almost in a sitting position so I knew the tabs were sitting correctly and I could pull them tight enough. After the first 2 diapers, she didn’t mind wearing them at all. I did shave her back side and base of her tail so it was easier to keep her clean. I also used a squirt bottle (from a tie dye kit) to wash her off because giving her a full bath was not in the cards! Hope this helps some people because we were desperate to help our girl during her last few months with us. Grateful we had more time with her because these diapers helped so much💜

No instructions how to put on a cat and the only picture which may offer clues on the package completely covered by the shipping label. But most importantly, they don't work for our cat. We tried two Small diapers for our 9 lb female cat, did our best to secure them properly, and she wiggled out of them in a few minutes.May work for dogs but should not be advertised for cats.

We purchased the Extra Small size it fit her at 6 lbs with room to spare. She must have been comfortable in them because she never tried to get them off.Our 24 year old Maine coon cat was having problems making it to the box at night,& she slept with us. It was important to find pet diapers that would work. These diapers were the best product I have ever used. They were comfortable on her. She moved around in them with no problems and they never once leaked. “She put them to the test.” Best part I could easily remove the tabs to see if she needed a change. Super easy to use. They came with a nice premade hole for her tail that could be made larger if needed without compromising the fit. Last they came in a cute pink checkered pattern. She was our girl so it was a nice bonus. Compared with the pet stores these cat or small dog or rabbit diapers were cheaper and better quality and came in a 24 pack. Good price and great quality.
