Extremely disappointing. I’ve been following the progress of this game since it was meant to be released as rugby 24. I’ve read all the updates and know it’s been in development for a long time with feedback from people who had early access. However, the finished version that has been released is what I would expect from a very very early prototype. Glitches all over the place. Unfinished animations, unfinished teams. Dyer gameplay! The player ratings were clearly an after thought, as they make no sense. France are rated lower than Italy! The games I managed to get through consisted of a 3-0 thriller and a 0-0 where I touched the ball once because rucks do not work. I’d expect big ant / Nacon to be issuing full refunds for anyone who’s bought this terrible excuse for a game.

Don't expect a finished product. This game has all the hallmarks of a great looking game with questionable gameplay. The redeeming fact is that Big Ant are pumping out updates at a rate of knots. In in less than a week from .2440 to .2495 - resulting in improvements in gameplay (still lots of work to do) making the game a little more enjoyable. Rucks didn't work at all beforehand. Anybody that has been following this game will know it has faced delay after delay and it still feels like it was pushed out too early. That being said work is continuing, at pace, to improve what is on offer. Over all, worth a punt - just don't expect too much from the get go.... This is likely to be a slow burner.

Terrible game play. Tutorials don't work, some of them don;t even allow you to do what you are supposed to be learning !! Game crashes constantly. Impossible to get the ball from the opposition unless they kick it to you or they score. Passes are hit and miss, players play out of position and wander around aimlessly. The worst rugby game I have ever played. Wish I'd never bought it. Why is it so hard to make a decent rugby game ! This game was delayed almost a year so expected so much more. Save your money.

Got game first weekend. Players looked great but game was genuinely unplayable. Not just bad but didn’t work. However over the past 2 weeks there have been at least 5 updates. Each one has made a huge difference to how the game plays. whilst it’s not a great game still now you can actually have some fun with it. who knows if they keep going with the rate of updates this could become a little gem of a game.

Rucks awful, passing awful, line outs cant fail, no time to kick.. seriously woeful, the 2 stars are for the presentation and licensed teams. This needs a lot of work as its currently unplayable

After multiple delays, missing the World Cup window, this is finally released for the Six Nations … unfinished. It is not just unpolished, it is virtually unplayable, with commentary non-sensical, rules implemented improperly and teams completely unbalanced. Why are we so far back from Jonah Lomu’s rugby on the original PlayStation, so many years after that was released?! Hopefully updates will allow for the complete experience, but original purchasers should be compensated for funding it, in my opinion.

Completely unplayable, extremely disappointing and a waste of money. My son cannot believe how unplayable this game is, should not have been released in this condition. Completely avoid this game…
