T.W Evans Cordage 47-011 Plastic Clothesline Pulley

Normally wouldn't bother leaving a review for something so basic, but the card in the package says a 5 star review means 5% of the proceeds will go to Wounded Warriors.I purchased this pulley based on a part list for a project which converts a Nordic Track ski machine into a kayak machine. Anyway it works for that purpose, and seems reasonably sturdy for something made out of plastic. Might have second thoughts before installing this outdoors in the sun though.

I had the custodian install two of these pulleys at either end of my classroom so that I can put up student work by staying on one side. This has been a MIRACLE! No more up and down for me! These pulleys are very smooth and they don't snag!

For those in the market, I thought I'd provide some insight not included in the online description:the wheel of this pulley is 4" in diameter and the groove for the rope/line/wire is 1/2" deep.I just got them, so I have no input regarding durability. It feels like plastic feels. It will get quite the workout in the coming Houston summer so we'll see how it stands up and whether I should just fork over the cash and get metal pulleys in a couple months.Wish me luck!

This is a useful item. I use it to move mail from my gate to my lanai as I recently had surgery and this helps me from walking to the gate/mailbox.
