A bit repetitive and not as good as the Disney Castle!
A must have for any Lego fan and perfect for a Christmas present!I bought this for my wife who had been through a tough time recently, however this cheered her up no end! I had bought her the Disney Castle last year for Christmas and knew she would love this. I've attached a photo of it completed and as you can see, it really is a realistic image of the Taj Mahal. However due to the design of the palace, it became a bit repetitive in places - for that reason I am giving it 4 stars as opposed to 5 stars which the Disney Castle was fully deserving of however I purchased that from Lego direct not Amazon. The delivery was very prompt and Doddle/Amazon Locker is nothing short of brilliant - I get it sent to one of my local supermarkets (Morrison's in my case) and I can collect it after work - I am self-employed and I am not inclined to wait around for up to 12 hours for a delivery driver who Amazon say they can't track (which I don't believe for a second!) If it's not able to be collected from an Amazon Locker/Doddle, I'm not buying it.Back to Lego, I've since noticed that they have released a Hogwarts Castle 71043 version which is no doubt going to be on her extensive Christmas list. I really hope they do a Lord of the Rings one as that would be her favourite without a shadow of a doubt.Update:We've since purchased and assembled the Hogwarts Castle which pushes this down to third place. I personally can't stand the Harry Potter books/films and my wife dislikes the films also however the set was more enjoyable than this due to it not being so repetitive. In summary, if you're only to buy one, get the Disney Castle or the Millenium Falcon!
