Accessible and detailed study aid
This book sets out the Edexcel syllabus in an accessible and logical way, including "real life" examples, useful tips, plenty of examples and practice questions as well as a handful of exam questions. The free online edition is clear and easy to use and has a handy facility for adding notes. Very useful for tutors, or students who are looking for an alternative to their provided text book.

Excellent book!

Frustrating
The book has a tendency to explain terms using concepts which have not yet been taught. Also there are many "Tips" on each page which direct you to a LATER page. This adds nothing to your learning, but plenty to your confusion. To me, as a beginner, it's a very frustrating book as it feels aimed at people who already know the subject, rather than those who are trying to learn it.
