Rox 0.8 Premium Carbon Filter Media (1 Qt)

It takes such a small amount, and I was totally skeptical. It says 1 tablespoon for every 10 gallons. I thought no way. Well it works and it works really well. I'm using 1 tablespoon in my 10 gallon nano reef, and the water has never been clearer and the bit of smell that was starting to form is gone. I will buy this again!

This is the best carbon I've used so far. I use about 1/2 quart in a carbon reactor and it makes my 450 gallon reef crystals clear. The only down side is that the carbon is so small so if any detritus flows into the reactor it quickly clogs so placing a filter sock over the reactors pump helps keep it free from clogging. No negative affects on my tangs that are associated with cheaper carbons. Excellent product!

This carbon is super nice compared to others I have seen. It was very easy to rinse and you barely have to use any. This is going to last me a very long time!

Very very small. You will need a special bag for this carbon. Not all the media bag will work.

When I bought this gravel it showed and described something totally different than what I got. What I received was charcoal dust. What i was shown was a cylindrical form of charcoal. My bags are to course, the charcoal will pour through.
