Not just for woodworking, sewing patternmaking bonus!!
First let me just say that the packaging this came in is superior!! You can tell it was manufactured and packed with care and quality. I originally ordered this to measure and mark an upcycled Ash table top that I wanted some accurate lines before I cut and I was so impressed with this TSquare. It is really robust and has a great weight to it. You know when a tool has a hefty hand feel to it? This is it. I was worried that since you have to screw the two pieces together that it may not be square, but it is so well cut and the inset ruler piece is aligned with precision. Once you tighten the four screws, it is solid. There are so many scribe holes for you to run the perfect line mark down your project down to 1/32nd of an inch. I appreciate that they made it 24 inches long too. The edge also, for me anyway, ran so smooth down the side of my wood edge, no shifts or wobbles, so perfectly straight lines. I will say that the scribe holes are small so I had to use a mechanical pencil with a bit more lead pushed out of it, but otherwise no issues. Now, I am also a textile artist and this has been so perfect to use for creating boxy patterns with seam allowances, pleat measurements and markings, and to use as an edge for my rotary cutter and cutting table. Because the edges of this ruler slope or roll off on the sides, you run less of a chance on rolling over it with your marking, chalk or cutters. And because it hooks on to the edge of your table/desk it doesn't move under the pressure of your second hand like some quilting rulers do. BONUS USE! It's now in my studio instead of my garage.

A solid T-square
As others have written it is packaged well. It is easy to assemble and makes a 90 degree line to the edge. The “T” is wide and fits over the edge of the board which makes it very stable. The small holes to make parallel lines are very small they just fit a .05 mm mechanical pencil, but you need hard lead. The softer leads seem break. Maybe I need some more time with it, thus the 4 stars.

Accurate and easy to use
The media could not be loaded. This t square is one of my favorite tools now! It is very accurate, lightweight, and long enough for most of my needs. I like that it has a long reference surface so it can be registered more accurately against the reference surface. The coating makes it easy to slide along the working surfaces. All markings are well made and easy to read. Moreover, it contains an array of marking holes that allow for 1/32-inch increments along the entire length of 24 inches! The holes could also be used to draw parallel lines to the reference edge either with a pencil (just make sure it has a thin and long lead to fit) or a marking gage pin of some sort. I’m not sure how I’ve been doing my woodworking projects without it. Although I do not make cabinets, I constantly find good use for it. Highly recommend this t square if you are working with anything longer than 6 8 inches. Please, also check out my video review for more details.

Perfect T square
You can never have enough T's imo. And this small sized one has been a life saver on a few projects right out the box. The square itself is lightweight and an easy assembly but do t let that fool you its a small beast. Open holes along the rail for measurement markings make this a great tool. The square is well perfectly squared for level lines. All for the perfect finish to any project.Fast shippingGreat priceAmazing quality5 📏 📏 📏 📏 📏 all day long

One word QUALITY
Picked this up to help cut up an old laminate desk to make some small shelves and I am very impressed. This thing is rock solid. Incredibly smooth glide accross the surface. I have a off brand scribing square and it looks like I was making lines during an earthquake when I use it so I can tell u right now this thing is just beautiful.Because the holes are so small I had to go buy a felt tip pen to use. Picked up a 0.5mm ultra fine one and it worked great. A mechanical pencil would also work if you need to write on something like bare wood that might chew up the tip.Put together pretty easy. When you're assembling don't tighting the screws all the way as you go. Use your standard criss cross pattern when tightening. Go until snug then next etc. When they are all snug then go tightening and it will auto align perfectly square. When scribing don't apply pressure with the pen. Instead just gently hold it and apply pressure at an angle on the "T" end to guide you and one or 2 fingers to help the part you are trying to mark.Excellent craftsmanship and a fine piece of equipment 5/5

Accurate, but not flat, T-square
Overall this is a nice T-square. the holes for marking parallel lines are great and fit my mechanical pencils perfectly. I also like the tabs on the "T" that hold the square flat to the surface instead of tipping on its side. With careful assembly, mine is square when measure against my other tools. The only downside, for which I removing two stars, is that the square does not lay flat on the work surface, the ruler part of the square has a slight upwards bow that is about 1/16" across the full length of the square. You can see in the images what I'm talking about and in the photos, it's laying on my cast iron tables bed which is as flat a surface as most people have in a workshop. The bow isn't a lot, and if you are drawing parallel lines using the marking holes, the light pressure of your pen or pencil will push it flat against the surface but if you're using it to draw a line against the edge of the ruler, you need to use one hand to hold down the "straight" edge, which isn't ideal. Depending on where you're drawing the line, it can be awkward to hold the square against the side while pressing down and drawing a line (a their hand job ideally). Hopefully this is a one off problem, and as a free item for a Vine review, it's fine, but if I'd paid full price for this, I would be requesting an exchange to see if the issue was a just for a small batch or systemic.
