I wanted a string of addressable LEDs that I could use in an interactive decoration for my kids, and this worked great.I especially appreciated the extra connector that they included; it breaks out all the wires so it's super easy to hook it up to both a power supply and microcontroller! (I used an ESP-32 but Arduino or similar things would work as well)It was also very straightforward to control them with the FastLED library (I'm sure there are others that would work but that's what I used)Best of all, the kids loved the result. I'll definitely be getting more of their lighting products!

These fairy strings lights are really nice and fit a lot of niche indoor and outdoor decorative use cases.I paired them with a ESP32 WLED controller. This setup performs well because you can do all kinds of neat lighting effects easily.The string is IP65 rated for good outdoor durability and use, but the standard 3 pin JST SM connector ends are not, so you’ll need to protect them properly.The coating on each LED is diffused a bit, so you get a softer light glow from them.The distance between LEDs is 4 inches.My wife liked them so much after trying the set with got through the Vine program that we bought a second set.

Update: Was refunded for the light string which was faulty. Updated the rating to 4 stars because 5 stars would be everything functioning initially, but customer service was helpful and offered a refund.The lights are easy enough to get working with wled on an esp32. The colors are good, but not terribly bright, particularly where the string twists so the leds are facing away. Some light diffuses through the back, but not much. Unlike some 12v strings, each led is individually addressable, not groups of 3. The LEDs are encoded RGB, not GRB as many strings are for some reason.Unfortunately, one of the four strings I purchased had an intermittent break in the data line about halfway down the string. Sometimes the second half of leds would light up, but not usually.

I plan to put these on my Christmas tree next year. They are plenty bright - especially given they are 5v.They are easy to set up and don't tangle.

These LEDs are bright and colorful. The clear wire string is nice because it doesn't show as much as a colored or black wire.Very fast response to questions.

I plugged in the string before taking it off the spool and only the outer three loops were working. It looks like someone closed the wires in a door. The center of the sting was crunched and the wires were broken in two places about half an inch apart. I was able to cut out the damaged section and solder what was left together to get the string working, but this might be an indication of less than optimal quality control.With everything working, these lights are really nice. The LEDs are inline so they are visible from any direction.

I was hand wiring old ws2811 chips, got to be tedious, and found this string that I hot glued in place. My newest christmas tree poster display works as I wanted(until I get to programming a different controller).

Quality is decent.
