Fun, rhyming, same-more-fewer math themed book that children will request. I work with special needs preschool children and work on concepts through play, games and read alouds- this is one of the first "Math Start" series books I purchased for my practice. Therhymes, illustrations, and relatable story of shopping with Mom hold children's attention and they don't even know they are learning! Brilliant! "Typical" 2's or verbal 18 month-olds would enjoy this one...up to math challenged 2nd grade...

I teach kindergarten and the students loved the funny story along with the pictures. Plus, it really helped tie in the concept of greater than and less than.

I used this to bring literacy into a kindergarten math lesson. The students enjoyed the pictures and figuring out what was bought. It has a cute ending based upon what the animals bought.
