The scale works and works without a problem, day 2 of using it. My dissatisfaction comes from not seeing where I can order more labels for the machine, the company telling me that they don't sell labels, leaving me to guess it out. Then connecting to the machine - no comport cable (comport to usb would be cool) Ok fine, I'll figure that out - the comport on the machine is male (just a heads up - ordering gender changers) We were given a network cable - it is a cross over cable that will enable to connect directly to a computer, will be trying this out. Once things are sorted, I will update my review. 11/10/23 I have successfully connected to the scale via the supplied crossover cable, and have also found labels that work. For connecting via network using the crossover cable, the default ip on the machine is as stated 192.168.0.150" You will want the network card you are using to connect to it in close in IP, like "192.168.0.50" Default Subnet "255.255.0.0" and make sure you set your gateway IP, I used "192.168.0.1" (years back I got away with not doing the gateway - I had to this time. For the labels - look for 56 by 40mm, I got some here on Amazon from Phomemo, and the work in the scale. The roller holder is adaptable, the holder actually has a sleeve that you can twist off to accommodate the smaller spools from Phomemo. Other than these issues - the scale is great and now everything is good.

The product doesn't work; it's a waste of money. None of the communication methods they claim can be used work. I contacted the seller, and they didn't even want to resolve the issue via video call or remote connection. It's useless, it's not worth it. I demand a refund.

The scale is almost ready to use, all you have to do is tighten one hand screw to secure the pole display and level the scale using the leveling feet. The trouble comes when you try to connect the scale to your computer. It comes with an eathernet cable that i could not get to connect with a usb to eathernet adapter. I bought a usb to serial cable and was able to get it to connect, but when you try to download the information to the scale with the included software, it connects but says communication failed. Virtually no support from manufacturer. Amazon says it can refund but not replace, but refund takes up to a month. Product would be infinatly better with a direct usb connection.

We purchased this for our business. Claims to be 'user friendly'. Manual comes with software on CD rom?! In todays technology our computers are not built with CD rom readers. So now we are not able to program the scale for efficient use. Tried contacting Vevor directly, but because we purchased through Amazon they have now put us on a waitlist to be contacted. Will update after we've been contacted. As for the labels, yah that's definitely inconvenient, if you are not familiar with different types of labels it can be confusing. Since we own a business we have access to lots of wholesale prices and options. But it would be nice if they listed options and sizes/types that are compatible with the printer.
