This tool worked fabulously in connecting long runs of chicken wire to make a squirrel barrier over my blackberry garden. Specific concerns though keeping it from 5 star: -My kids wanna do it too! It does take some extra hand strength to squeeze it tight, and the 9 year old had a tough time. It takes some muscle. -Sometimes it was hard to crimp the chicken in just the right spot -The staples don't fully squeeze all the way tight. There is about a 2 mm opening no matter how hard you squeeze. -The included staples do appear to be galvanized, but they have already started to show signs of rust after just several weeks of the elements. On the other hand, it really did do the task, and was fast. Just aim it right around the chicken wire sheets, and squeeze, and move on to the next. Loading new staples is easy and fast too. Basically, it gets the job done, and seemed much better than using zip ties.

These things are amazing! I’ve been using zip ties forever. They’re kind of a pain and they break down from the weather. I wish I had got one of these years ago! I’m a 70-year-old woman and I was able to open these right up, clear directions on the back of the package and reconnect the Fencing, where the zip ties had broken. Super fast repair.

The tool was durable and functional. It’s easy to hold and use. It holds a full stack of rings. Good value for the price. Only one thing is the angle you have to use to get the rings in place

Worked great for building chicken pens.

I would give 5 stars except getting the damn thing open to replace the rings is ridiculous! It's supposed to open up like a stapler but you must press and tug at the same time. We still have not been able to open on the first try. It is a completely awesome tool except for the very challenging process of opening to replace the rings. What a waste of time!

Works great. Really nice to auto load in cold weather. I used these for burlap when wrapping shrubs. Should have bought these years ago. Took my manual ringer along just in case, but these worked better than I had expected. May not be great for large gauge wire but for burlap they are king. The Dewalt rings are quite expensive but there are cheaper options that work in the Dewalt tool. I have no regrets buying this tool!
