Very effective
Brilliant product, very effective at removing algae from acrylic tank. No scratches, couple of passes and the tank was clean. Could also cut up in to smaller pieces to clean more fiddly areas, used on the end of a small plastic rod to reach bottom of tank without having to move fish out or put hand in the water

Does remove Algae but requires quite a bit of scrubbing!
I purchased this to remove green algae from the glass of a 25 litre aquarium. It is hand held, which means that it is easier to control the pressure and scrub harder, but alot of scrubbing is required to remove stubborn algae. It doesn't appear to scratch the glass at all.It is probably best to use this before a water change as some algae does get released into the water once it has ben removed.

Very good
The only pad I have used and successfully removed the stubborn algae from my tank. Some areas took a bit of scrubbing but it was a success where others haven’t worked so good. Will definitely buy again.
