These bags are made of silicone that is nice, thick, and durable. But that's about where the good stops.The worst is that the seals do not work very well, especially on the smaller bags. Fill them about 1/3 with water, seal, turn over, and shake over the sink. The small ones burst open with the smallest shake. The large one does OK but with a good shaking it still comes open.Another issue is that they are a pain to fill and get things out of. They don't stand on their own, the tops don't stay open very well for filling, and the tops are tapered- which makes it tough for an adult to get their hand into the smaller bags.Because they are thick and durable these should last and would be good for dry items, but for the price there are better products out there.

These silicone bags are thick and seal well. They are just as good as the major names in the silicone bag space. The bags offer a tight seal and fit a ton of food. I wish they opened up a little wider so they would be easier to fill and clean. However, they are on par with the major names in this area as well. The bags are thick so they cannot easily be punctured. I hope this means that they will last awhile. I also would like to see smaller options available for snacks.

I've been using these for a while and I like them. I see some people complain about the seal while others don't. I think the disconnect is: These make make a very GOOD seal, watertight, no gaps. But they also take very little FORCE to OPEN the seal. So if you plan to travel with them or have liquid in them sloshing around, it may not be the most secure situation. But if you use them in the fridge or freezer to store relatively spill-proof stable things, they will extend the freshness greatly. They've also proven durable to me, and much less expensive than the premium brand bags, so I'm satisfied. It's like a "4.25 star" product to me really but I have to round to select a rating so it's 4.

Ok that’s what these are. The seal and the material is good enough. The design though lacks compared to other similar items of these type. I find I use them way more than I use these. Not the easiest to clean and the opening makes it difficult to add or subtract items from inside it.

These silicone bags are much thinner than others I own and use regularly. I like the tabs at the top that help to open the bag. The tabs make it easy to grab and open. And I like the color very much. The bag is opaque on one side and clear on the other so you can see what's inside, even with the color. See photo of tabs at top of bag.Unfortunately, that's all I liked. The bags withstand no pressure when filled, so if I put something into one, seal it, place it into the refrigerator or freezer, and something puts pressure on it (like another container next to it) the seal is going to fly open. I filled the bags halfway with water, sealed them, turned them upside down, and watched the seal break open and water gush into the sink. These bags are not for liquids, and I'm not sure I would use them for food where they would experience pressure from any other object around them. Also, they are very thin. They have feet molded into them, but the dimensions of the bag versus the feet mean that they will never stand on their own. The bags are too high and thin for the feet to support, so they fall over whether they are empty or filled. I tried both ways.This is a shame, because these bags are quite attractive. I wish that the seal were stronger, they were a bit wider so they would stand on their own, and they were made from thicker silicone.

I like to use these for putting snack foods for my little one in for car rides. I've also used the larger one for sandwiches. I tried the zipper seal by filling one of the bags halfway with water and sealing it up. I flipped it over and there was no leakage. The zippers are easy to open though, so I probably won't actually use the bags for anything liquid since a small amount of pressure may cause the zipper to open.

This set of Dorence storage bags are quite different from other similar silicone bags I've used. The shape and design is like a purse. Although it may appear to be sturdy, the seal is its weakest link. The seal is not tight, not leak proof, and is easy to pop open. There is also no "click" feel and sound when pressing down the seal. I would not use this for anything that have concern of falling or leaking out. NOT recommended.
