Makes sharpening chain simple.
I bought this to sharpen the chain on my Stihl. After watching a video to make sure I knew what I was doing, I had the chain sharpened in a few minutes. The guides make it so easy. Would definitely recommend.

Great tool
This vendor ships real deal. These are authentic German made Stihl 2 in 1 chain sharpeners. I ordered what was purported to be Stihl 2 in 1 Sharpeners from 2 other vendors and received cheaply made knock offs which I promptly returned. I now have one these for both sizes chain that I use (3/8ths and this one, the 3/8ths P).I have been sharpening chainsaw chains for over 40 years using nothing but mostly hand files in the field and sometimes the occasional guide and I am pretty skilled at it. However, I switched to the Stihl 2 in 1 buying my one, as they speed up the sharpening process considerably as this tool simultaneously sharpens both the cutting teeth and rakers/depth gauge on the same stroke/pass. A simple, but great idea. I would imagine that they would work very well for a beginner also.

Great for beginner
As someone fairly new to lumberjacking and using chainsaws regularly, I find this tool was easier since it alone will file both the teeth and the rakers. Does a good job too, my chains are sharper than ever. I’m still a slow sharpener, but that’s ok

Zou het artikel ooit nog gaan arriveren?
Geen idee of het werkt of niet, want ik heb het besteld, betaald maar de bestelling komt maar niet aan. Op 3 januari kreeg ik een bericht van de Hel DHL bedoel ik, dat ik het over 1-2 dagen zou krijgen....we leven inmiddels op 10 januari en nog geen updates. Hoe moeilijk kan het zijn :(

Der Kettenschleifer von Stihl ist eine super Alternative zum Schleifen der Motorsägenkette! Die Schneidglieder werden sehr scharf und die Schneidwinkel werden eingehalten. Eine nützliche und bezahlbare Hilfe meine Ketten instand und scharf zu halten und nebenbei auch noch Geld zu sparen. Die Handhabung ist selbsterklärend und eine fehlerhafte Handhabung nahezu ausgeschlossen. Die Haptik ist sehr gut und die Verarbeitungsqualität sehr hoch. Es lohnt sich ein Markenprodukt der Firma Stihl zu kaufen.
