Villeroy & Boch – Victor Cutlery Set, 24-Piece Silver/Platinum, Dishwasher Safe, Flatware, Knives, Forks, Spoons, Luxury Cutlery Set, Stainless Steel

Our Stellar cutlery (also bought from Amazon) was getting a little tired and the knives were wearing through the food rather than cutting it so I decided to get a new set. Villeroy and Boch are a respected name and although there were a few negative reviews I decided to give them a go. Amazon's return policy is exceptional so why not! This Villeroy & Boch cutlery set came in a presentation box and each piece was wrapped in it's own small sleeve. I chucked the box away because although it looks nice it will not stand up to much punishment and I had no use for it. I wasn't sure about the handles to start with as they felt a little sharp on the extreme end but in use it's more than acceptable. All the items in our set were flawless and if I'm honest I felt guilty putting them in the cutlery drawer in case I scratched them. They're nice and lightweight in the hand but also ooze quality. If you get this set you will not be disappointed.

Great product, excellent price. Bought one set in local shop and we have been impressed with the quality and look. Search Amazon and turns out to be cheaper by £30! Bargain.

A simple but elegant design. Nicely weighted handles. Overall give the impression of good quality.

The quality looks good but expected a presentation box as it shows on the pictures not wrapped in plastic bags tied with elastic bands. So 24 pieces squeezed into a box similar to the size and shape of a large box of after eights. If this was paid for at rrp circa 200 quid as they are stating then I would not be happy. Even at £58.95 the box is a bit of an insult. Sorry

We bought a Laguiole cutlery service from Amazon, which was absolutely terrible. We gave it to a charity. This Villeroy & Boch service is the replacement, and just feels like great quality. It has the right weight, and it always comes out of the dishwasher sparkling. Eating has become a pleasure again.

Delivery good. Quality of the cutlery first class. Look really expensive and great value for money

They look and feel great but a knife has broken, ive never in my 53 years on this planet had a knife break like this, ive had cheep asda ones fair better than this, very disapointed.

Das Besteck glänzt richtig wenn man es poliert.ist ne gute Qualität und das besteckt .wie soll ich das jetzt schreiben .die habe so ein wellen schnitt.sie liegen gut in der hand.ich find die toll würd ich wieder kaufen.

The was a replacement/additional set of the V&B cutlery which we owned. Excellent product, good weight, traditional looks and high quality.

Unfortunately this set has some manufacturing defects. Spoons are sharp on the handle edge, making them a little painful to grab. Some other reviews noted issues with sharp spoon edges as well. Also, some knives were damaged or missing the coating. I previously bought a different set by same brand VB and the knives also had coating issues. This company moved manufacturing out of Europe and the quality went down over the years...
