An excellent mixer with just one point off for sharing a strip for USB and 2TR inputs (You can only use one or the other). 48bit/192Khz encoding at this price is uncommon in an analogue mixer. With only group 1-2 (no 3-4) the fader for the groups should have been two faders (One for sub 1 and one for sub 2) as with other brands. Keeping Monitor (Control Room on other mixers), Main mix, and headphone levels entirely separate is a good choice by Yamaha, but I do wish they had included variable crossover for headphone mixing and a combined balanced mono speaker out for checking mixes in a "real world" environment.The chassis feels tough and of high quality, the faders are smooth, the compression excellent, and the inclusion of 0dB marks on all rotaries makes the process of setting up a mix really easy. However, if you want to mic up drums, you'll need a lot more than four compressed inputs. (A drum kit can need up to eight mics!)

Brilliant mixer. Professional construction and outstanding audio quality. I bought this for podcasting and need multiple mixes for Skype calls, this mixer is perfect. Also USB in and USB out means no converters necessary.
