Medicook Soft Foam Sleeping Ear Plugs, NRR 33 Decibels, 40 Pairs

For some reason, these are the only earplugs I have ever had that are painful. Both of my entire ear canals end up hurting soon after inserting them ever so carefully. I'm not sure what about these earplugs is causing so much pain, but I'll have to stick with brands that have never caused pain.New addition to my review: I just discovered how to avoid the pain. I just reverse the earplugs, rolling them in my fingers, and then inserting the wide portion into my ear canals. Believe it or not, this works to keep out most noise, and it does not hurt at all. I'll still try some of the other brands because they're probably more effective inserted the correct way.I think Amazon should try selling samplers, which would provide buyers with at least one pair of each of several brands.

Works well for sound blocking, but stick out too far from my ears to allow me to sleep on my side while wearing them. Instead I use them when using noisy machinery and bought a different brand for use while sleeping.

I wear earplugs to sleep every night, and I tested these out when the price of my usual earplugs got super high.They were only okay at blocking noise, and one or both fell out of my ears every night. Not worth the purchase.

Very soft but overall too thin! I can still hear the snoring!!!
